tell me your profession

I come from a banking background, when I introduce myself to someone new I describe my occupation as one of the below depending on how much I want to shock them:

1 - Run my own business
2 - Run a mail order company
3 - Sell lingerie and adult toys
4 - Work in the sex industry

Pick which one you prefer (4 is my favourite).

I used to be a production engineer. I married a musician (pianist) I then left to bring up two children and now run an online aural training website to help people prepare for music exams.

As to what I profess...
life is for living
(how about that for starters!)

I'm a student and a jack of all trades on the side,

I buy/sell, draw artwork and design, session guitarist, and a mixer
I don't make much from these, but i enjoy my little hobbies

I'm making a wallpaper for a guitarist's website just now,
it's relaxing to draw :)

I sell pre-owned, vintage and retro clothing and accessories online. When time permits, I still do a bit of freelance journalism and am the (volunteer) convener and press officer for a national charity.

Previously, I was a parliamentary researcher for 7 years and did various stints in the voluntary sector while home educating my three children. And before that I ran my own language services agency for about 6 years.

I have long since given up on my ambition of becoming a world class drummer. :D

Regards, Alison

Yes tried it and to be honest didn't like it, tasted a bit like Tetley, it had a twang. We are more of a PG, CO-OP 99, Yorkshire Tea kinda firm.

Ran businesses in the UK including commercial catering equipment, property renovation, commercial property, heavy plant machinery, furniture retail and internet....don't know how the hell I fitted it all in.

Moved to Spain and became a sailing instructor and currently work on my own websites.

Well Yorkshire tea was our favoured but now overtaken by builders tea... dont know if it is because of the taste or the fact that you can collect token for mugs which have been popular lol
