Just a quick question - When taking a client to the small claims court for outstanding invoices. I don't really want my home address on the papers for the safety of my family (as you know people get nasty). Are you allowed to use a virtual address?
You can use an alternative address as a service address but this must be an address where any documents will come to your attention.
You could potentially pay for one of these "satellite serviced offices" and use that as your address but it is some lengths to go to just in case the debtors gets nasty.
Alternatively, you could appoint a Solicitor or Debt Recovery Company and use their address as the service address if the debtor still does not pay and legal proceedings are necessary.
Given the nature of the business and the potential money owed (just assuming) - it might not even be worth it, might be easier to just stop providing that customer the service.
