Hey guys,

A bit of a stupid one from my part.

Created a new Ltd company and when getting it all setup you get the chance to add "shareholders", I have 2 friends to whom I wanted to allocate 10% each, so I selected ordinary shares value £1 each and gave them 10 each.

I thought that would mean, friend 1 would have 10, friend 2 would have 10 and I would be left with 80.

I then noticed a "live chat" feature so was chatting to a support guy and he said that is not how it is worked out, and there is no 100% limit?

I am a bit confused as I wish to add another partner with 10% on board, but wish to dilute my 80% to 70%.

Thanks.

You currently have 100 total issued shares. If you want to end up with 70% and each of your partners to have 10%, then transfer 10 of your shares to the new partner.
