Hi

I have been checking out QuickBooks Stock Management and it is pants! But then I suppose for an accounting package I should have realised!

That said I have been told and I may have been told wrongly that back in 2020 QB bought TradeGeeko a stock/inventory management system and changed its name to QuickBooks Commerce.

QuickBooks sales advisor knows nothing about this, he didn't even know that QuickBooks Online was pants for Stock Management.... being that it doens't use a unique SKU!

Does anyone know what happened to this software, did it exist? As I would like an integrated Accounts QuickBooks and proper Stock System

Thanks in advance

Sorry for the delay in getting back, but I have found out now that TradeGeeko was bought and then QB just removed it from their systems and the only 'Stock Management' now is available via 'Unique Product Names' whihc is technically speaking crap!! :)

Its true about TradeGecko. But not about the no stock management feature.

What QB plan are you on? You need plus or higher for stock control.

Sorry for the delay in gettting back we are on: QuickBooks Plus

But the stock management is still only by 'Exact Product Name' NOT SKU, like any normal stock management system.

We have quickbooks plus and definitely have SKU (they call item/service code) as well as product name (they call name) like most stock control systems have both identifiers.
