Query About Domain Registration, Ownership and Payer

I have three separate Accounts with my Domain Host.

1. My personal Account ( A ) which is the oldest account.

2. My first Business Account ( B ) which is my current main business account.

3. My second Business Account ( C ) which is a recently formed new business.

All the domains in these Accounts are Registered to me, personally.
Is that OK when the payments for some of the domain renewals (as applicable) will come out of the individual companies' bank accounts?

Is it necessary to change the name on the Registrations to the individual company names?

So as, at present, Business A pays for their specific Domains on behalf of me personally and Business B pays for their Domains on behalf of me personally. I own 100% both companies. Does that create any Accountancy issues in terms of Allowable Expenses for a Business? ( Obviously only small payments involved but would like to get things straight ).

I'm going to answer this questions from the perspective of should you ever be considering selling your business(es).

The domain name owner and registrant should be the company and not you personally. Each company should have records of having paid for those domain names, even if that is an expenses claim form where you paid personally and then claimed expenses from the company for paying for the domain names.
Potential buyers of a business want to make sure when they buy the company they have the rights to the company email and company website, especially of the website is a big part of the business operation.

If you have no plans to sell the business then it isn't so important with such small amounts.

I would agree with @Ozzy. The buyer would insist on it being put into the Company ownership. If you have allowed the Company to pay for the domain via expenses then arguably you have transferred the ownership otherwise the expenditure would fail the wholly exclusively test.

Just get your house in order before trying to sell.

Thank you Ozzy! That has helped enormously to get my thinking straight. I understand now why I was puzzling over it. No immediate plans but you never know what the future holds.

And thank you Pi Daybooks as your comment shows that strictly speaking, the costs, however small are indeed exclusively for business purposes so the businesses should be seen to be owning their domains via the visible Domain Registration.
