Online Business Partner Wanted

Hi there,

I am looking for a business partner with internet marketing experience to work with me and manage a large internet presence in many niches.

Income will be generated from affiliate programs, own product sales, and advertising and will be shared on a 50/50 basis.

All hosting costs etc are carried by me

Duties will simply be assistance with updating content on sites and blogs, lead generation for email marketing and product sales. Some basic marketing skills and assistance are needed to accelerate earnings.

Terms of agreement are of course negotiable.

No chancers please just genuine inquiries from those that have a sound knowledge of internet marketing to work together with me.

Do you have a proven concept? Do you have a marketing and sales strategy (and budget) in place?

To be honest - anyone who is any good when it comes to digital marketing and sales will not touch a commission only sales offer when what you want and needed is a skilled digital marketer plus someone who knows how to sell.

I read it that you have got a bunch of websites that you want me to manage (ie do all the work) for which you will pay me 50% of everything. That doesn't sound too enticing especially as you don't even tell me what you are selling. It could be cheap junk that earns you £50/week for which I'd have to do a bucket load of work for £25.

I was tempted to join in the cynicism too. Too often on the forum new members post something similar, although normally "I have got a great app idea, any one want to develop it for me as a partner and share in the riches".

Perhaps you would like to reword?

What is large / many niches? Quantify.

What is the state of this presence? Already built? Under construction? etc

The use of the word 'will' implies in the future. Is this the case? Is the current income zero? If it is not zero what is it?

The duties sound like an employee / freelancer rather than a business partner, why can't you pay ( assumption here makes people believe you have no proven income from your presence)

Actually make you sound like a chancer ( it introduces the idea ) and also sounds like the sort of wording that people selling get rich quick schemes use.

Sounds like that's 99% of the work.

And you make a big deal of the £5 pm input you'll be contributing. "All hosting costs etc are carried by me"

What's the etc? You're asking for a lot, but what exactly are you putting in? How about explaining that a bit? What's the size of your existing properties in terms of traffic / earnings / whatever?

It sounds like you're simply going to be sitting there collecting all the money while some mug does all the work.

I couldn't have put it better. My first reaction on seeing the "chancer" word was amusement at the irony.

I do appreciate everyone's feedback, and I suppose I did word the entire message wrong. I was rather taken aback about how people felt I was going to just sit there and let some 'mug' do all the work as some mentioned, and the other negative comments...However,
