So my refurbished Herman Miller Aeron chair, bought for £400.00 10 years ago is listing.

Time for a new chair, this time I'd like a brand new one, but £900.00ish for another Aero is a bit of a stretch. Ideally something in the £300-£400.00 range would be good, posture is important.

Any recommendations, what are you sitting on?

I use a steelcase leap and love it. I bought it used a few years ago and it's wearing very well. I have back problems and it's the best chair I've used. It has lots of adjustments. I particularly like the how the arm-rest adjustment can swing out for typing, it lets me move close to the desk and support my elbows.

You'll find reviews on ebay.

good for chairs, isn't that what the op asked?

I think that was a joke! Made me smile anyway.

I built an office in my garden last year and looked at loads of these, cheap and expensive. In the end I opted for a generic job for approx £65 which had consistently high reviews on Amazon. Only had it a year but it's extremely comfortable, not only for working, but also for long naps on slow summer afternoons. I was planning on getting a top(ISH) quality one, but this purchase has proved to me that that was not necessary.
