sorry for a question that was questionable. Yes, so that I mean - of course this is a reseller account that allows using different ip to each domain that I add.

I have found one and the only seohosting.com a division of hostgator. still have the other?​

We can provide multiple IPs for multiple domains on our reseller accounts. You can have as many as you want but we do charge for them. (I think it is about £1.50 per IP) but if you call our hosting team 0845 0045 583 (ext 1) then someone will be abale to tell you for certain.

i know RIPE are getting quite strict on this so do expect to be charged for them, you may find getting a VPS with this ability easier than a reseller account.

It certainly won't harm your SEO.

The only time I can think a shared IP would damage a search engine position, is if another website on the same IP had content which the Search Engines did not like. This would put your website in a 'bad neighboourhood' and may have a negative effect.

Would it really? If I had my site on a shared server along with a serial spammer, a link farm and a hackers forum I don't see how it could be classed as a bad neighbourhood? It's not my fault the host put them on the same server.

In any case, if you are relying on different IPs to help your SEO then you need to rethink your strategy.

If the spammer got the IP blacklisted your e-mail would certainly be blacklisted as well. I think the search engines most likely work off domain names rather IP addresses though so I doubt it has much if any impact on them.

That's why I said '"it may have" a negative effect. It may not, to be honest I don't know! But back to OP's question, we can provide IP's should someone wish to have different IP's for SEO reasons.

To be honest, RIPE wouldn't agree based on those terms, they're getting really anal about handing out small blocks such as /23's now.. You'd be better off saying it's for SSL purposes, rather than for SEO.
