Hi
I am doing a bit of research and was hoping for some opinions.
At the moment 70% of the UK population don't have a will and almost everyone should have one, so there is a big market to go at despite the number of firms offering this service. So, the question is, why is it that people don't make a will and how could I encourage more people to do it. I think the main reasons are as follows but I would be interested to hear if anyone thinks there are other factors
- cost, people think it will be expensive to do
- people dont think they need one (especially if they are married, too young)
- people dont like to think about death
- people feel intimidated approaching solicitors etc
Any feedback would be appreciated, I am trying to look at ways of marketing this kind of service so I need to try and work out what the objections are. Also if anyone has any marketing ideas that would be great.
thanks
