I finally got round to your place today.

I would recommend it. Its a shame its not closer to where i work as i would be a regular otherwise. Decent portions and the 2 staff who served me were both chirpy and friendly.

Where is your work located? We are considering a delivery service in the future.
Next time you go mention my name and they will give you a 10% discount.

Spring Gardens - mosley street way.

Its not miles away but its about 5-10 minutes each way. Its not too bad in the summer as i can stop on the way back and enjoy the short skirts in the gardens but during winter its too far.

Yeah I understand. We will also be starting orders soon as well, so if you did want to order something in advance to save time you can.
Thanks for the visit and recommendation.

Hi Richie,

I went in on Thursday lunch time, very impressed, had a really nice sandwich and cracking value.

Staff were really helpful, although I did think I was undercharged - only cost £2.80, would have happily paid another 30 - 50p so I didn't ask for a UKBF discount too!

Perhaps my only suggestion would be to have some more obvious sandwich filling suggestions. I'm hopeless when it comes to deciding myself so tend to rely on specials boards to make my choices. Maybe I just missed it but couldn't see anything immediately behind the counter.

Seemed like a steady stream of people going in there when I was sitting outside, so hopefully you've made a good start.

Hope you don't take it as criticism, just a bit of feedback, I liked it overall and will definitely be back.

Thanks John for your feedback, much appreciated.
I agree with everything you are saying, actually we are in the process of revising our menus, which hopefully will be going live next week.
These will include price increases, as our sandwiches are quite cheap, and we use quality organic breads, so we have had to increase on this.
With regards to the fillings, this is something we are addressing as well and you will definitely see a change with this, more of a simple menu to read for our customers.
For the last week we have had a consultant in to improve menus, systems etc in the business and the comments you made will be implemented shortly.
Watch this space and hopefully your next visit you will see these changes. ;)
Thanks for your visit.

Great stuff, glad I made some sense for one. Eating must be a strong point of mine.

Look forward to seeing the changes.

Have you been in lately John? Seen our new menu? I can email this to you if you wish...

Just got the new menu in my inbox this morning, looks good. Not been around in Manchester for lunch lately but I would think I'll make it in again by the end of the month.

Went back in a couple of weeks ago Richie. Good to see a few more suggestions on the board and it looked busy; salad bar seemed to be popular.

Pricing was more realistic, think I paid just over £3 for bacon and brie which came with a small side salad so not too bad.

Only thing was the heat in there this time, was a pretty muggy day outside but could have done with a couple of fans in there.

Will head back again one day, fancy trying the salad bar next time, looked a good choice.

Hope business is going well.

Hi John

Did you sit in today? There should be some fans in the restaurant and an air conditioning unit?
I've not been in there today.
Thanks for your comments, will look into this.

Hi Richie,

Was a couple of weeks ago that I went in so might be old news now! Just hadn't got round to posting on here.

Thanks,

John

There are some fans and an air conditioning unit in there, they have been there for some time now so maybe someone had moved them to the back room.
It does get quite hot in there as we do cooking at the counter as well.

Hi Richie

Were abouts in the City Centre are you? When I'm down for the Business NorthWest event I'll try and pop in.
