Jill was out all day yesterday and I had a few hours to kill so I set up the film studio in our kitchen and decided to film a spoof M&S food ad.

The main crux of it is that Jill's family are pretty bad cooks... I mean, "try and kill you" they are so bad and it has become a bit of an in joke.

So, off I set with the camcorder, studio lights and me doing an "Emily Howard" style voiceover...

    End result here

    Ho hum...

The worse thing about it is it's all true, my mum made fairy liquid roast potatoes the other week, my sister made a salty pudding, my mums garage is filled with out of date alcohol and nobody ever cooks the meat poperly.

I got back last and didn't notice a thing until my sister rang me to tell me to watch it. Very funny :D

Doesn't seem to be any chocolate pudding left for me though :(

    Andy....

I have to send some men around to see you. Don't be alarmed if they wear white overalls, one of them may even hold a hypodermic but they're fine really. You can trust them!

If they ask you to go with them to some place safe you can and I expect you'll be allowed to take your video with you and Emily as well.

Just remeber to say bye to us all here at UKBF.

Don't you have a 'proper job'?

That was excellent Andy, best laugh I've had in ages, me and Mark have watched it twice, he says that it should be on TV as a tribute to all mother-in-laws across the land..lol

Tin, yep, bout right, something Jill has been threatening for a while!

I have used it as my Ecademy profile as well, and if that doesn't force people to get in touch straight away and hand over obscene amounts of cash, well I don't know what will!! :-)

Wow! Went to watch the footy this avo, came back and a load of nice messages on here.

Thanks everyone. I am now thinking about how I can recreate the Sony Bravia advert that was filmed in the abandoned housing estate in Scotland (the one with the paint)... Hmm, maybe a bit out of my league. :-)

Go and recreate the bouncy-ball one, but use badgers instead

It'll probably go viral - particularly the chicken ;-)

That was brilliant Andy - my 8 year old son thought it was genius and couldn't stop laughing!

I have a confession, after watching this several times I then sent it to most of my friends and family. They want to see it on terestrial, preferably run in the breaks of ready steady cook and similar.

Did you get Dame Edna to do the voice over?

ha ha ha, was supposed to be "Emily Howard", but you can hear that most of the way through I was trying not to laugh. I had to film the audio in clips as I couldn't make it all the way though without giggling. The neighbours are now very worried as to what I get upto when Jill is out.
