Low card volume - best reader suggestions?

Hi all,

So im looking at a mobile event, trade shows probably once a month and something like £12k pa by card so small volume. Main business direct sales by electronic payment.

What i need is a card reader and relationship with card processing company. I am not concerned with upfront costs of machine. Ideally what I want is a processing company without monthly fees (or very low) that just charges every time I do a transaction.

Transactions are typically £9.95 to £189.95 highest volumes £19.95

Any ideas, Tide offered me a reader for under £200 and said they would charge 2% a transaction or something like that but I had to open a bank account with them. I bank with co-op bank - I dont want another bank account

I use Sumup for one business as it takes about £800 a month.

For another business, its about £15k a year, spread over 5 events. Whilst I also use Sumup here, I will be changing shortly.

I have used MyPos and it is cheaper (1%), but doesn't have the same epos flexibility as Sumup.

If Kashflow would work with Worldpay, as I can get well under 0.4% (probably closer to 0.7% when adding in other costs), I would move to them.
