We assign our own expertise Steve, our 40 years of experience running successful businesses. That is why we look for opportunities where we have some control over the way the business is run. We do not just give people money and let them get on with it.

We may invest in a start up, or an existing business, or a business in financial difficulty. Either way if we can see the potential to make money then we are interested.

Yes Keith we have considered that, but it takes a lot more investment than we are prepared to commit right now.

Hello, i introduced myself a few days ago....

Well as you can guess, Steve's the name and Coolings my game.
I am an air conditioning installer/engineer and have been in the trade since 1989, when i left school.
I set up business as a one man band in 1999, the year my daughter was born and have essentially (i've employed one or two labourers and a few get under my feeters) remained a one man band ever since.
Now my son has been born, i am setting off on an aventure to build a "proper company".
I have a good regular commercial client base which pays the mortgage, holidays and bills but i'm going to start pushing in a specialist residential climate control direction. Installing a/c systems in conservatories, bedrooms, home offices and loft conversions.
