Looking for a Cardboard Box Supplier

I need some cardboard boxes for shipping about 500 x 320 x 110mm.

I used to buy from Box and Seal but as soon as the Covid lark kicked off, their prices went sky high.

I did some Googling today and didn't find much that seemed reasonable in price. Plus it's a crowded space online. I could get them in China, but it seems daft if I have to when I'm sure someone must do them at decent money here.

Can anyone here recommend a decent cardboard box supplier?

We get a variety of custom boxes from

Not huge quantities but quality is good. Shipping can add up though as you might expect.

I had a look at your size (assuming it's internal) on B & S and 25 came out at £3.09 for a 3mm wall 0201 style. On Asc it's £1.14 for 4mm wall (minimum 25).

Would be keen to hear if there's a better deal out there for runs of 100 say.

In quantities of say 500, they are all coming out about 80p each all in. Maybe I'm behind the times, that sounds like a lot of money for a box to me.

Puts the best part of a quid on each product.....

I'm afraid costs of packaging, like many things, has sky rocketed over recent months. Even in China (where we operate) prices have soared and are now a significant cost to our customers. For this reason UK suppliers have had to put their prices up as its a global market place.

Smurfit Kappa are probably the biggest in the UK. They have been complaining they don't have enough material coming from the recycling collectors.

The supplier I linked to earlier in the thread can do 45x35x16 (max Royal Mail small parcel size) for 75p each for just 24.

Get yourself a proper email address. Most businesses won't take someone with a gmail address seriously.

Plus shipping?

Thanks for the advice on email address. I have been thinking about that for a few weeks to be fair.

I'll get it sorted.

Check my profile for custom packaging services with Custom Designing on boxes.
As this is a UK business forum and you are in the US I’m not really sure it would be cost effective to order from you.

We're currently offering 20% off of first orders across all of our cardboard boxes, alternatively we have an article on where to find free boxes over on our website. Just search for Packaging Club.

Our boxes are all UK made from quality board stock (we partner with the board supplier directly and secure excellent prices), and we offer small pack sizes with accumulative pricing (combined with the 20% intro offer we're often 30-40% cheaper like for like on size and quality).

Any questions let me know, happy to help.

Why look for a box suppier? Why not go straight to the manufactures?

Hi! We manufacture cardboard packaging and it can usually be a lot cheaper direct from the manufacturer. Please check out Belmont Packaging.

We are based over near Wigan, UK.
