Is Microsoft Defender Antivirus is Enough

I am a tools developer and doing drop shipping, have imported passwords in my machine. I have just built in Microsoft Defender for protect my machine, want to know is it enough for secure my machine from malware and virus?

I use it and have never had an issue, however, I am more cautious than an average user when it comes to link clicking, websites etc (just common sense and experience).

If you're on Windows 10/11, then yes, it's very good nowadays.

it seems to me that recently this is not enough , given the new AI programs , and easy development in Python
