Post for interesting member facts :D

I was having a nosey on Crossguards site, just to see what he did. I found out he created the Freelander name for Landrover.

Therefore my car is named Freelander because of Philip, you never really thing of who names these things and I found this interesting.

Any more member hidden interesting facts, please post here.

Jayne :D

Philip = "Philhippos" = "lover of horses" in Greek!

("hippopotamus" is Greek for "river horse".)

..... ps and I've also ridden across the Sinai desert on a bicycle.

I've been to Russia on a bus, but I've never been to me.

I hold a world record, I once owned the best Oriental Ticked Tabby Cat in the country and I know Kung Fu.

Phew... I'm glad you thought it was interesting Jayne as I was feeling a bit left out but now you mention it.. I did notice one person who took up the whole pavement and passing her was tricky even by my standards but I don't think her name was Nellie! :-)

I'll ask when I have the pleasure of travelling to Tesco's again.

M & S at The Eastgate Centre as well as loads of other big names but yep, it's normal to drive (or Bus) a long way for shopping. Just want to point out here that I'm no 'mamby pamby' with all this chat about shopping it might ruin my image, pure stallion breed, that's me and as straight as MacMyDay is.

Born in Basildon!!! The heart of Essex

That's where I live now, well Pitsea technically.

But I'm always quick to point out I'm not from here, I just live here!

errrm *Stuggles to think of something a little bit interesting*

I've had legal threats from microsoft over some dodgy 'hacking' software I wrote about 7 years ago.

Oh yeah, and I've played chess with a serial killer.
