I prefer quality backlinks rather than quantity, but the most I have on a site is around 1,000 links. Not all of these will be indexed but most tools say between 500-1.300 with majestic SEO saying 1,132. Using the tool you linked too they say I have 6 backlinks...... Not sure if this data is reliable.

If these all back links are quality back links then I can not beat you but if all are qualitative then I have a lot numbers of websites that can beat you. After all back links is about quality not quantity....

Though in theory all this rubbish about quality backlinks hangs true in reality its the biggest load of rubbish that is banded about the internet.

In a large number of cases whilst you are busy building your quality backilinks another blackhatter/seo expert/guys who can really get the job done are actually swagging the business.

If done right, quantity will demolish quantity any day of the week if the aim is to achieve google ranking.

I'd heard this but never believed it until I saw google's page 1 dominated completely by a bunch of sites for a very decent keyword.

All the domains are new with pr0.

The Quality of the links posted matters rather than the quantity, you may post 100 links on different domain having PR0 (live links) and at same time you post 20 else 15 links (live) on a site having PR3-5 the more power will be driven from those 15-20 links rather than that of those 100 links.

Yep, absolutely agree on the high PR but the high pr backlink can still be a completely spammy post and will still get you the juice.

Its just showing result one time without sign up and am not sure that it is correct or not.
I believe Google web master tool provide more accurate and authentic information.
