I am trying to start a new drop shipping business. I've just heard back from Amazon who want the following information:

1. One of the following official documents containing the business name I need that Now:
-- Business or professional license
-- Copy of incorporation from Companies House
-- VAT registration certificate. A screenshot of your online copy is acceptable
-- Business invoice that clearly shows the business name and address
-- Certificate from a trade organization or affiliated professional society

If you are a sole trader, please upload:
-- The first page of your self-employment (short) tax form or tax return filing. This is different from your individual tax return.
OR
-- If you use a business bank account, submit a recent bank statement that shows your business name and address.
OR
-- Any other document that shows your 10-digit Unique Tax Payer Reference Number (UTR), such as previous years’ tax self-assessment forms, a letter from your accountant, notices to file a return, or payment reminders from HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC). For help on UTR, go here: https://www.gov.uk/find-lost-utr-number

AND

2. One of the following documents from your business confirming employment for Zoe Dixon:
-- A letter confirming employment. If possible, print it on company letterhead and include a company stamp. If the legal name of the business differs from the trade name, include both business names.
-- A copy of a business card and a company ID card or badge.
-- A pay slip or other company-issued document that shows your name and the business name.

None of which I have, other than my UTR. How do I get around this? My brother got his sellers account without any of this information!

eBay - I have just been banned! I uploaded ten listings for my product and was immediately restricted. I haven't sold anything on this account before I only made the account on Saturday! I will copy their answers from the transcripts and if anyone know what it means I would be more than happy to have it explained to me. I have researched their policies and I am not breaking anything or trying to circumvent anything I just don't understand and am at a loss as to what to do now.

Building a trusted marketplace is our first priority.. As such, we restrict/ suspend any account that poses a risk to that trust.. Your account has been restricted because the pattern of activities we have witnessed present a risk to our eBay community.

This restriction will remain permanent, as your account is not eligible to sell items on eBay. I am afraid; you will not be able to participate in any selling or buying activities on eBay. In addition, any other accounts that you own, or that are associated with this account, will also be restricted/suspended.

the pattern of activities? I'm trying to start a drop shipping business

Why is it no eligible?
06:54:20 UTC Roshni
Having reviewed your account, we have determined that the activity on this account poses too great a risk to the eBay community.. Due to the risk, involved eBay has determined that you are not eligible to use eBay from this point on.
06:54:25 UTC Roshni
I apologize that I am unable to be more specific on the reason of your restriction for it might cause any violation that members may intend to do to disrupt transactions here on eBay.
06:54:50 UTC zineedthatnow
what risk?
06:55:20 UTC Roshni
I understand you would like to clarify the action we have taken on your account but I can't share or disclose the specific information due to security reasons and to prevent our members on having any ideas on how to circumvent our policies.
06:55:59 UTC zineedthatnow
what policy have I circumvented? there are loads of people on ebay who do this same thing!
06:56:13 UTC Roshni
I admit that you are anxious to resolve this issue, I am sorry to let you know that system has placed no appeal restriction in your account. You will not able to sell items on eBay any further. I assure you this decision has solely taken based on the information available on the account and by no mean we are questioning your integrity with us.
06:56:27 UTC Roshni
We understand that this may not be the answer which you might have anticipated but we've already given you all the information available to address the issue while referring to our existing policies. From this point forward, we ask that you find a different venue to purchase and sell your items.

What do you I do?

eBay have banned you, no point worrying, it’s final.

I’m suprised you are thinking of using eBay for dropshipping anyway.

What Amazon did in the past and what they do now are different. Your brother may not have had to return all those documents but you do. Nothing you can do about this.

Your eBay ban is final. Don't even try to create a new account - you will get found out and banned again.

If you want a dropshipping business set up your own website. Or find a different way of making money.

@Zoe Dixon As hard as this is to hear, you cannot get around the Ebay ban, you can try and set up new accounts but they will find them and they will close them - Amazon have changed a lot over the years, you really need to understand their platform if you want to be sucessful on there.
Amazon only want registered business sellers on there, with a company that can scale and grow on their platform, they do not want dropshippers, if your model is dropshipping start a website and focus on social ads/PPC for marketing
