Hi

We have updated our address on our business profile about 3 months ago, and it is stuck on Pending, no matter what we do it doesn't change.

The front end is still the old address and the new address will not move from Pending.

I have sent support requests to Google and I get a 'We are not sure of the issue' response, we have posted on Google business profile forum and had no replies.

Google has now suspended the listing I can only presume because of what they see as the 'wrong address' so some form of misrepresentation. Even though it is their system that isn't working

Is there anywhere I can actually speak to Google?

Nope, all you get these days is an AI response.

You can try the support forums but you are now stuck in the same position as millions of other small businesses with suspended listings.

Don’t expect much to happen for months (if ever).

You probably need to think about investigating alternate marketing platforms.

I moved office between Christmas and new year. When I check google in a private window it shows that it has updated.

Maybe you could google all the directories and things where your old address is showing, update them and google will pick up the change?

I didnt do that, although I have updated the address on our website, companies house, the FCA register and the ICO so maybe that had an impact?

Did you receive the address verification letter?

Also check your online footprint, if you have public facing address online. (such as directory listings) with the old address and your GBP has a new address, google gets confused and your GBP account is flagged.

Many thanks for that, I will check, but there shouldn't be many.

I submitted a review request, but no doubt that will be Google AI like the two previous support requests.
