General Election (blues)

I live in Newcastle. I take it you are referring to the 1 man and 3 children who raped and abused 2 girls? Where are your white comparators?
No

I’m talking about these -

We have been highlighting the horrific crimes of the Badreddin family who were brought to the UK by the government from Syria.

Omar and Mohammed are now in jail on multiple counts of child rape.

Their brother Abdel Malik Badreddin was a terrorist killed in Syria whilst fighting for Harakat Ahrar al-Sham al-Islamiyya in opposition to the government of President Assad.

The group aimed to create an Islamic state under Sharia law.

The British Authorities knew this yet his family were allowed to come and then the brothers began a campaign of rape terror and grooming against vulnerable 12 year old English girls.

Muslims taking Control of our Streets, Threatening Jews & other innocent victims & Muslim Rape Gangs throughout the UK

You think this is ok and are you denying the rape gangs in Rochdale especially and the recent gang in Newcastle (do your research)

Let’s look after our own first including homeless ex service personnel instead of landing 1500 immigrants a day and housing and feeding them and putting pressure on all our services.

Cindy and the woke left have destroyed our country and until this attitude changes we are doomed, doomed I tell you.
Read that report i posted from the Nuffield trust above - we are recruiting nurses from outside the Eu as it is cheaper than training our own, the govt (or any future govt sticking to current spending rules) do not have the money to train enough her as they won't up the pay enough to make it worth it or the time to wait for changes to come into effect.

Assume the need for an extra 50k nurses (as proposed by the conservatives) how do you suggest we meet that need ?

Where does your 1500 immigrants a day come from - I assume you are including legal and illegal routes - all those legal ones are meeting what the current rules so which would you tighten ?

75% of all rape gangs are *******

A taxi driver rapes a woman on average every 12 days, the perpetrators are almost invariably ********

******* men are 3% of the uk population but 18% of all rapes are carried out ********

Over 75% of all stranger rapes are carried out by people born overseas.
I asked for sources. Could you also explain, given that between 1.3% and 8.2% ofrapes result in a charge, how any of your figures can have any meaning?

The great nation that went over to other countries and eroded their identity?
You realise only 6.5% of the UK population identifies as muslim at the last census?

ok read th story - obviously a very mucked up family - remember the younger of the abusers were themselves teenagers who had been removed from a warzone (and a brutal one at that) when this took place so hardly the same as the Rochdale incidents which involved older men grooming youngsters and are you really saying all immigrants (which by your count is half a million per year) should be judged by the actions of one family ?

Do you think all travellers run down coppers and drag them down the road to their death ? It makes as much sense as your assertion

I have no issue with my local area - i dont know yours so wont comment (as i dont make sweeping generalisations in the same way)

But i asked a simple question, let me put it again.

Starting with the current number of people int he country today - if we need 50k extra nurses for current demand - how would you meet that need and in what timescale ?

(we cant turn back the clock and suddenly have less demand by smaller population and even with the same amount of population as now, nursing demand will rise due to demographics)

There has been no integration. There's no multicultural societies. What we have is multiple areas consisting of the same cultures, especially in cities like Brimingham. The multiculturalism pushed on us is a lie and it was never going to work. Cultures clash, they don't mix.

It’s causing problems not just here but in mainland Europe too and it’s not pretty.

I honestly believe you all know this and your trying to be a fair and respectful decent human but unfortunately you ain’t going to change the minds of people can stone their own daughters to death legally for not believing a make believe man lives in the sky.

And there bringing this to a school near you.

Watch out kids.

Honestly ask your elders there ‘real’ opinions.

I did not argue this- I’m talking about certain cultures. I don’t know get 50k Polish nurses.

What do you class as integration?
My daughter goes to school with muslims, sikhs, catholics, protestants and people with no religion.
I have worked with muslims, skihs, catholics and so on.
I used to own a pub, when we took over he introduced himself as p*** (im sure you work out the rest) Sam. He used to sit in the vault and talk to the other regulars and have a laugh with them.

Thats education, work and socialising all covered off. Im not sure what else there is.

Just because all of them do not do those things. There is a woman who lives over the road from me, we only ever see her leave her house to go to work and come home. She does not say hello, or seeminghly do anything else (thats nearly a decade - it took about 18 months before we reliased the house wasnt empty!), shes white by the way.

If you generalise with some things but not others, its easy to sway it but thats your bias taking over. Of course there will be people who do not integrate well and want to be around people more in line with themselves. That is normal.

It is also no different to british people going over to spain and forming a community, half of them never bother to learn spanish.

Multiculturism here - within a mile radius on map there is a buddist temple, a sikh gudhwaha (another just over a mile), 2 mosques (different sects) 3 CofE, 2 Catholic and 1 Babtist church - the synagogue is a bit further away the freemasons hall is also only about 1,5mile away as is the clubhouse for the local HA

My daughters secondary is pretty fully integrated and the biggest issue they have is the (multicultural diverse) bunch of 15 year old lads who call themselves "roadmen" and ride around on ebikes being tw*ts

Your generalising now, I am talking about, The values, morals, ethics of the British people being eroded by ‘others’ of a different culture that we seem to be pampering too, causing the issues of everyday people which answers perfectly the title of this thread ie election blues and why people have them. Well there I have given you mine and I would imagine a great number of people would agree. Including yourselves but hey you would never admit that. That’s why we are in this state. Too many weak hands.

Maybe ask the families of the Manchester arena bombings or the London Bridge massacre or maybe the 7/7 attacks on the tube and buses. Or possibly the soldiers family who’s head was cut off in the street.

Anyway I have said enough and before I get myself in anymore trouble let me just say I have fought for this country and been proud to do so knowing what I was fighting for and have lost mates, where I sometimes cry at night (yeah ok I have PTSD) thinking of what they died for looking at the state of things now caused by one thing.. yes you know it.

You and your sons might be queuing up soon to fight a governments war against Russia with your chests pumped out with your British flag on your shoulder but unless our shores or women/children are at risk a once very proud Englishman would never ever fight for this shitshow again.

Out.

Correct, as long as the nurses stay and work in the UK, then paying them more makes perfect sense - see my earlier post about student funding.

Doesn't matter. The money for their training and wages, while they ARE working in the UK, has been spent in the UK which stimulates growth. And if you say that foreign nurses will send some of their money home, well, that's why we should train more UK nurses and pay them more, since they won't send it overseas.

Whether the train line is any good or not doesn't really matter; £ 20Bn has been spent in the UK economy, which stimulates growth.

It IS important whether the train line is good or not, because of a) the opportunity cost, and b) any future required subsidies. If the line needs to be continually subsidised.

obviously you live in a very chaotic part of the UK as other than stories in certain news sources I see no issues around multiculturalism where I am.

The "Oxford Rd" part of Reading has always been the dodgy end, it was all indian subcontinental families, then it became west african, then it became eastern European and currently there are more and more Afghani and the like moving in - the problems have not changed at all just where the people come from - that rather suggests the problems are more to do with wealth inequality and opportunity than the ethnicity of the people involved.

https://maps.app.goo.gl/5bCAoftrhzCHaLw29 look at this with the Irish pub (complete with union jack roofed car in disabled space) between the halal butcher and cake shop, next to the brazilian meat and supplies shop. If you spin around you will see a mosque, a tuition centre (lots of immigrants are very very keen on decent education) an eastern european food specialist run by a romanian (vampires den) and an afro Caribbean hair salon plus an african beauty products just across the junction, there is also a chicken and chips place and just past the blue bus is a tanning salon/beauty place for white girls who want to look Mediterranean.

Further down other side of the mosque try here - https://maps.app.goo.gl/5bCAoftrhzCHaLw29
Methodist opposite evangelical pentacostal church, look along you can see that mosque, there is the "Hebrew congregation" orthodox synagogue up a side road along with separately the "jewish community of berkshire" synagogue

looks horrific Ian the whole place.

Can’t you move out?

Have you traveled much and seen you don’t have to live like this? It’s genuinely a cesspit there Ian. This is exactly what I am talking about, and this replicates much of the UK, run down shanty high streets filled with chicken shops and barbers fronting for money laundering.

There is a better way Ian, your kids don’t deserve this.

Let me ask you one question- Do you think immigration is a major political issue and one that most people stopped on the street would bring up?

Well yes of course they will you know that… so what is it they are moaning about and what answers do you have for them? Maybe you say just let them land, no character or criminal checks let them into hotels and feed them using your money you work then let them filter through the country.. genuinely Ian you know people are going to flag this and do you think there all stupid ignorant racist tossers like me? If not what’s your answer to it, tell them if you were PM you would allow them as long as they don’t preach there ways and laws and you would ban the Koran? If not what are you saying to win there vote.

You may turn a blind eye to rape gangs borne out of the culture of the way some cultures are taught to treat the female population of their particular country and you may allow public tortures and for the workforce in your manufacturing plant to take off their boots 5 times a day and pray when you discipline Johnny for sneaking out for a crafty fag for 2mins.

If you can’t see people’s anger and disincharment your honestly living in a bubble and need to open your eyes and go talk to people in different places.

i dont live in that part of town although my first house was in a very similar area - i moved as a 2 bedroom terrace 10'6" wide where you had to go through the back bedroom to get to the only bathroom/toilet is no good with children (either you go through their bedroom or they got across top of stairs and through yours)

But actually i love shopping down there - get any herb or spice you like. Also used to be 3 motorbike shops and still there is "motorcycle parts centre" which i use for spares regularly, Along with the rifles barracks where my daughters have done ACF

You want to see integration that fits your "british values" go there on a Monday night - ACF band which offers free tuition on a band instrument as long as you also do "green" cadets on another night. Every colour and religion represented (including a few children of the local Gurkha/nepalese expats) all getting along fine following the orders of the nco's and adults irrelevant of their background (they are equally diverse).

Don't throw bits of the Koran out there - the bible is as bad as I am sure are most religious texts. Islam today in my view is having it's christian crusades moment.

Personally i ignore all magical sky people but remember the torah, bible and Koran all have the same big boy up above it is just release 1, 2 and 3 of the religion app.

If you stopped people down there they are more likely to complain about the traffic, house prices, thames Water, Reading council wasting money and the state of the town centre whilst building works are going on as they are immigration

i did recruitment for 27 years in Reading, i reckon i spoke to more of a cross section of people than you ever have. Almost without fail those complaining "he took my job" were just incapable not discriminated against. I include the white guy with a face covered in tats and the incredibly aggressive afro Caribbean woman in that category (both had to be threatened with plod to leave the office) - easier to blame others than look inward

I live in Manchester.

My daughter was actually in hospital the night of the bombing, there were children of all religions brought into the hospital treated by Drs and nurses of all religions.

My gfs cousin was at the arena the night of the boming, she ended up getting injured - not by the blast but the panic from people running - she has no issues with muslims.

My great aunt was murdered by Harold Shipman - guess what, all of our fmaily would fight until our dying breath for the NHS. Look at the nurse at Stepping Hill hospital who killed people. The nurse and harold shipman were both white. The odd nut job does not make everyone a nutjob.

What you are describing is not integration. What you are describing is our way or the high way, thats the complete opposite to integrating.

However, if you ask what is the issue that matters most to them only the die hard Daily Express and Daily Mail readers will mention it. You have been brainwashed. Not your fault, it happens to a lot of people who struggle to think for themselves.

Good discussion boys and you bring up good points, Cindy your being rude again and just because your a mod now doesn’t give you the right to get personal. Makes you look silly. I will engage with you if you can stay on topic.

You have to accept Cindy there are many different types of people and different opinions, yours is not the only or correct one.

Now speaking of topic let me ask you a few questions see where we’re at then.

Ok so as previously stated let me begin with what I touched on above.

1. Would you agree if you stopped a random on the street and asked them what there main political concerns were would in your opinion in general, immigration come in there too 4?

🤣🤣🤣 Have you read your own posts. Incidentally, persistently mis-spelling someone's name when it is always written down in front of you is a known form of belittling.

In a general discussion of political issues which matter most, 100% of the people I know would not mention immigration in the top 5.

Bit different- you can’t compare a serial killer who’s motive is self interest to attacks on the British state or Western values. Put a thumb up to that please Ian

I would honestly answer that "it depends where the street is"

In Reading "no"

I suspect the yes/no answer probably maps quite well with Brexit votes (not because one causes the other but because both were born out of the same underlying worries or not)

Was discussing this at Rugby last night - the rfu's original policy was correct

CisWoman to mens rugby - crack on

CisMan to woman, have a height/weight limit if below then fine, if above has to be looked at on an individual basis considering level of likely playing competition / position and exact size/weight mismatches possible

1 size does not fit all, undergoing male puberty gives an innate advantage in strength based sports that can not be undone

don't watch or listen to football so I have zero opinion other than to say i suspect an ex pro of either sex is likely more informed than a media face with no actual playing experience

Can't stand the woman's voice who does Match of the Day commentary.

The missus watches a lot of Netball and I keep asking her why a man isn't commentating or a pundit in the studio, yet on BBC's Football Focus on a Saturday lunchtime there can be two women and one man?
