Hi All!

This is my fist post so apologies for not contributing to the community before posting a request for help, but things are becoming urgent and I've spent several weeks wasting my time with potential suppliers who know less than I do on the matter.

So, my actual requirements are simply IMO, but the vague and often conflicting information I've had to date, has left me very dismayed with no confidence whatsoever in any potential provider of the packaging we need.

We have 10ml bottles already which require labeling in accordance with the current UK TPD regulations, we also need individual boxes for each bottle which displays the relevant information and a larger shelf ready box suitable for distribution which contains 50 individual bottle boxes. This outer box will contain a variety of flavours/strengths etc, which will not be the same ratio in ever distribution/shelf ready display box, and this is where the ambiguity lies, among some other aspects of the process although, these aren't specific to Vape Liquid.

If anyone knows of any packaging companies with specific expertise in this field, please let me know as Google's current research and subsequent contact has not been fruitful to say the least.

Thank you in advance for any info and my intention is not to cast aspersions on any suppliers I've spoken with in any way, so, I'll be conscientious in my responses should anyone contribute to my quest. I've just had no confidence that they've more knowledge of the TPD and TRPR legislation relating to packaging/labeling than my limited experience on the matter!

l appreciate you taking the time to read my plight!

Thanks for the reply Richard but I'm having trouble viewing it! I noticed in the alert that you have contacts but I don't know why I can't see your message?

My apologies as my technical skills are in need of an update but I need to deal with this imminently! I've spoke with someone who has filled me with confidence and they dealt with Vype on some of their original campaigns but there willingness to help, and, the costs quoted make me skeptical of this packaging companies claims, and their ability to produce the requirements and I simply can't afford to let down in days time!

I did say I wouldn't openly mention names but the guy was named Alan Dove and his knowledge of the industry leads me to believe that many others in this sector will have dealt with him as he is the specialist within the company he works for in Northamptonshire.

I would like to say that the information received from CS Label was fantastic though, and, although they're not an appropriate end to end solution, I would highly recommend them as a label provider! I genuinely have no connection with them, but I think exceptional service deserves passing on.

If anyone could just throw up a few reputable suppliers of e liquid packaging who have supplied others with good products, knowledge and service, I'd love to hear them! Meanwhile, I will look into the Vype claims by the current frontrunner to ascertain their involvement, but, any input right now would be very much appreciated.

Thanks in anticipated and if Richard could please get in touch, I'd be grateful.

Regards

Simon

I have been in the industry for the past 8 years. If you want any liquids or box for the same contact "Superdragon Group" Leeds aka. "eCiga" they produce 40k bottle per day in the UK if you say Mark Conway sent you they will help you out.

Thanks for the replies everyone. They are very much appreciated! But I now have the situation under control (thank god) and I'm astonished at the difference in the service and obvious knowledge of my predicament/requirements the guys I'm using have in respect to the other consultations with several other 'experts' in this field!

And Hi Mark! You have no idea how pertinent your recommendation of Superdragon is! Serendipity/fate, call it what you will, but the coincidences are incredibly and I can't fully explain why! When I gave my requirements to SCD and briefly some background info, they mentioned Superdragon, or more specifically, ecigy! Not eciga though! THIS WAS ONE OF THE WOW FACTORS in our initial discussions, so your recommendation almost seems shilled or contrived!! But there's no possible way that could be, so, please don't think I'm inferring that that's the case! It's some weird s**t though from my perspective though!

I've a business partner with a background in acupuncture and my wife has a business in the Chinese medicine sector!! So, this Alan Dove knowing who they are, and you recommending them has made my hairs stand on end, but, this was one of the points that showed how on the ball this guy was!

When I did look into Superdragon though, a further coincidence came to light! I noticed they were in Seacroft, Leeds and this put me right off!!! LOL.

I am joking of course!!! But I used to stay in the Stakis Windmill twice a month for over a year many moons ago and it wasn't a pleasant time in my life - When Sally Boazman now mentions the A64 on the traffic reports, I shudder!!! I realise I may have offended a lot of local people there, and that's not my intention - I can only assume my gloomy outlook on life at that juncture, influenced my impression.

That said, for anyone who knows the area, you must understand my next statement?

If you don't know the area (like a fully knowledge accredited black cabbie) or don't have a sat nav - entering the estate which has the road running through it called (I feel sick typing it), Stanks Drive - could be like entering the twilight zone! I like to think I've got a good sense of direction but when you're stopping to check which side the moss is growing on trees to navigate your way out, it becomes worrying! - The local teenagers also made my experience (being in the summertime) like being on safari in the Serengeti. From an Impala's perspective though!

I don't know why I felt the need to share that with you Mark, and everyone else - Therapy maybe? Anyway, I really do appreciate the input, and, I really want to sing the company's praises that are assisting me if that's allowed? They've just been so knowledgeable and knew the question before I asked it! I did have some trek to find them and in an effort to reduce the leg work of my piers, I'll give the details of the supplier:

The two people I've spoke with are Alan Dove and Paul Needham from SCD Packaging. Their site doesn't seem to obviously cover this niche.

They really have been brilliant and stopped me making an obvious mistake, as well as one which went well beyond my understanding and this was outside the remit of the task at hand. All I can say is thank god I used them! I hope I haven't broken any rules by mentioning them, but surely this is the kind of platform where we share good business contacts in the interest of us all. I'm no advocate in slating people or companies, we all have bad days! But credit where credit is due and the Middle Eastern guy Paul, has been amazing to deal with!

So, thank you for the help and good luck for the future.
