CoAlign - New Startup

I am developing a new startup called 'CoAlign'. To quickly summarize, CoAlign will be an innovative platform designed to revolutionize the way entrepreneurs and startups connect with their ideal co-founders and skilled individuals looking to join a venture. Our proprietary algorithms will go beyond traditional skills and experience matching to evaluate compatibility based on shared vision, complementary abilities, values, and workstyles.

Before developing the MVP, I wanted to create a landing page where you users could register their interest. This way, I could see if there was actual demand for this product. What do you guys think? Would this be a good product?

I understand that there are products like CoFoundersLab out there but from the research that I have done, there's loads of issues with sites like this and I feel like I could develop a product that could fix these issues.

What’s your marketing budget? Whilst your idea might be viable, without considerable investment in marketing it won’t ever become a mainstream product.

But TBH it sounds just every other collaborative tool that has launched in the last umpteen years.

Take a big step back and think about your strategy.

You post itself doesn't seem to know whether you are selling your idea or seeking advice.

If the former, it needs work!

If the latter, brace yourself (it needs work)

The idea itself - it really depends on

What research you have done.
Who you are specifically targeting
How you differentiate yourself from the many, many platforms already out there (you have alluded to this but haven't clarified)

I've been a member of numerous sites / groups in this space

Without close moderation, the content comprises

1% legitimate investors
30% scamners & chancers
60% shite investment pitches
20% people like me - watching and possibly finding consultancy opportunities

In the manner of all rubbish pitches, that's more than 100%

It's nothing new and almost all fail because they just can't get the volumes needed to sustain the business.

Without a big marketing budget, I think this will be hard to get off the ground.
