consultant marking goods at under the actual value is common practice - everyone does it..... in fact most importers actually offer to do it without being asked.

Something I'm yet to find out is, is it cheaper to buy 10,000PCS of any one item & pay the VAT & import tax or is it cheaper to buy 200PCS & avoid these costs? It would all depend on the product I guess.

Who would the liability lie with if you are caught under valuing imported items? Has anyone actually every been prosecuted for doing so?

Also, someone in my town went to China, got some fishing tackle made that was a similar design to the top selling fishing tackle...renamed it as his own brand and has made a ton of cash so far!

Frankly speaking, there are loads of people from different countries who import things from China and sell them out with huge profits in their respective countries. You can have example of India, Pakistan, Afghanistan and many more others. So, it’s not a myth, but a fact!

yeah,i think if you want to imoprt from China ,the first thing must make it clear all the cost in U.K and the shpping cost.That will be useful for you to know the retail Price.and if that it is competitive to the Items in local market.

For me.i am from China.some customers also purchase from us,We totally know situation of our customers,and business is avail.so from the supplier,they of course hope their clients will benefit,that also mean the long term business relationship.SO IF could they also will to make thier ultra-effort to help thier customers out.

China have good price sell and that's make possible for people who's gonna import the goods from China to make more benefit in UK. May be they can sell 4 or 5 times more expensive from they bought.
