consultant marking goods at under the actual value is common practice - everyone does it..... in fact most importers actually offer to do it without being asked.

Something I'm yet to find out is, is it cheaper to buy 10,000PCS of any one item & pay the VAT & import tax or is it cheaper to buy 200PCS & avoid these costs? It would all depend on the product I guess.

Who would the liability lie with if you are caught under valuing imported items? Has anyone actually every been prosecuted for doing so?

OP: Good luck with your first import!!! :)

Faint!!!!Really,I am feeling very faint. You are eating flesh of chinese. We have already sell our products in a very very low price, why do you still bargain? If the price worth the value, why not buy it?
Don't make too serious of the price. What the value, what the price.Only my opinion.Thank you and have a great day!

yeah,i think if you want to imoprt from China ,the first thing must make it clear all the cost in U.K and the shpping cost. That will be useful for you to know the retail Price.and if that it is competitive to the Items in local market.

For me.i am from China.some customers also purchase from us,We totally know situation of our customers, and business is avail.so from the supplier, they of course hope their clients will benefit, that also mean the long term business relationship.SO IF could they also will to make thier ultra-effort to help thier customers out.

Regards,
Dannier
