Can anyone help with a Google built site?

Hi there,

I have a client who wants me to change his Google Free website across to my hosting account so that I can build him a new website.

However, trying to find how you point his domain name to the DNS settings on my hosting account is like trying to find a Yeti!!!

Can anybody help?

which domain name is it? is it regisettered to him?

Have checked on Nominet and it is registered to him with the nameservers as
dns1.register.com
dns2.register.com

get in touch with nominet if all else fails, and get them to point the domain to him.

Who paid for it? he is going to ned a registrar. Might have to go to 123reg and transfer it into there then change the details from that point.

His site is going to suffer a bit of downtime though.

if it wasn't bought through Google (who use 3rd party companies to manage the domains) then it may have been bought through Register etc. - he should then have log in details for their control panel
