Business Marketing

Not all types of marketing campaign will be applicable for your company's services or products. It will depend on who your customers are. For this you need to understand who the decision makers are when it comes to provisioning your services or buying your products.

So, don't bother taking anybody's advice unless they have information in your sector.
Yes, refining and defining who your audience is, is important, then your marketing efforts will be more focussed

I couldn't agree more with you @StevePoster ! We are running our own company blog and find that this helps not only with our overall marketing efforts (attracts new customers and helps with search engine rankings as the content is fresh) but it also helps with the fact that it helps to retain existing customers. We send a weekly newsletter out to our existing customer which contains a link to the blog posts. From this comes a number of new enquiries that are essentially giving us business. This effort is free (excluding employees wages) so this should be one marketing medium that shouldn't be underestimated
In order to get more back links to your blog or website , is to write for
articlecube,
ezinearticles,
Ibotoolbox
this is slow and time consuming, so I would perhaps farm some of this out to a good writer on fiverr - some of the talent on there is amazing in each category but you have to hunt them down

Ann, this is the worst idea ever. Google hammered article sites a few years back because they were full of link building junk. The spammers then moved on to guest blog posting and now that have be devalued as well. I doubt you will find any writers of value on ffiver.

Really? I wrote a couple of articles for a very niche topic on ibotoolbox, subwoofers that was ranked well ....also had great logos done by an Indian chap on fiver, there is definitely talent great artwork can be found there too, but now they are not s fiverr you pay higher rates so you are definitely wrong on this last point..you simply have to hunt down the best like any recruiter would do

It depends on your business area. But here are the most important things:
1. Marketing strategy: goals, steps, checkpoints, ROI.
2. SEO that will include both internal and external optimization.
3. SMM: every reputable company has at least one profile in the social media that is regularly updated and properly moderated.
4. Adwords (if you have budget).
5. Email marketing campaigns (if you have budget as well).

I'm successful by doing marketing via Telegram and Whatsapp for some companies. I think that is the best way now. Sending sms, email and reply messages automatically by using some apps.

Depends on who your target market is as to where they are most likely to see your ad and how they prefer to connect with you, ie email back, social media messaging, walk into shop, phone. Marketing is not a one size fits all, you need your own marketing strategy that will reach the right people at the right time.

As others have said, it definitely depends on what your business is selling. Telesales is still a valid way to contact companies and is a much quicker way to reach the right person than email (emails are very easy to ignore!).
