Business Cards - Printing

Recently changed my business focus my original idea of retail definitely does not suit!

Getting this one all sorted as quick as possible and we are at the point we need to get some business cards printed. We have a design but I wondered if there are any printers that come recommended or on the forums?

Our initial requirements are 50 - 100 of each of the designs (both are the same in general just different contact details). The cards are double sided, front has a blue to light blue gradiant and a (different) light blue for the text. The reverse is white background, light and dark blue text, and a few images. Writing it all out it sounds like quite a lot of different components so if from a printing perspective it would make sense to simplify it in some way I am open to discussing and possibly amending.

I can send the artwork for any potential printers to have a look if that helps with a quote.

If any more info is required just let me know.

we use www.facemediagroup.com quite a lot - cheap / good quality / upload your own jpeg / they supply templates / etc.

only warning (other than that the design sounds cluttered - it is your first impression...)
gradients do not print well digitally - you may therefore need to consider Litho printing, which is much more expensive.

Vista print are running a lot of end of summer offers at the moment. I had 250 premium business card (that's on their thick card) for £9 something. They are good if you arent in a hurry as anything other than their 3 week snail main costs dear. They usually take about 2 weeks to turn up.

Had a look at Vistaprints website.

9.98 for 250 + 6.99 double side + 2.24 uploaded design + poss delivery charge?. Thats only just short of Neils prices and you will get delivery in a couple of days + i'm sure the quality will be better.
