Best A0 printer

I want to start a wrapping paper hobby business. What printer would produce high quality photographic images in the wrapping paper sizes?

I've been using an HP Designjet A1 colour printer almost everyday for over 10 years. It needed a new belt a couple of years ago, it's rock solid.

I've never printed wrapping paper. I suspect using my plotter for lots of full colour printing might be expensive!

Printing your own wrapping paper sounds like an expensive hobby to do the printing yourself, can't you use a printers?

I was thinking of small runs and trying local stalls if it didn’t sell it doesn’t matter. But I see your point..

Anyone recommend printers for small runs?

Anything from HP or Epson would be fine - you would need to check it is ok for the gsm of paper you want to run through it though

Unless you are charging about £10-15 per sheet I don't see how you would make any money what with printer costs, design time, paper, ink, labour and selling costs
