Hiya,

I am a little late with this request, however, can anybody provide me with some information regarding banner printing?

We are attending a car show this Sunday 24th April, where we have taken a stall and will be putting up a gazebo thingy.

So i need to get a 3MX1M (approx) banner printed to be displayed on the outside, with the company name.

I have been quoted £120!, which seems expensive to me?!?

can anybody refer an alternative supplier who will be cheaper and able to deliver within time? I am based in London. Otherwise I will have to visit all the Woolworths/Smiths in town and buy all their felt-tip pens!

thanks

I am able to survive with 2 colours, the main thing is to get the company name on the gazeebo!

I can design something up in photoshop quickly and send it in tiff, eps or jpeg i beleive.

.i looked up the leads but were not suitable, in price, turn around time, etc ...also checked some local places but not found anything as yet!

what do you have in mind, im open to options ...it just needs to be approx 3m long tho!

thanks

I know a company who give me great 'mates rates' for my clients for print jobs liek these (and billboard ads if anyone is interested!).

I will ask them tomorrow what they would charge. They are usually really reasonable.

Do you have a phone number and I will give you a buzz once i have asked them, or alternatively, call me about 12 ish.

thanks Andy,

PM sent with my contact details tho I will buz you tmrw around midday.

If he can acommodate, colour ..even the better, though its an outdoor thing so it needs to be weatherproof!

I should beable to hold the banner in place with a some clamps (or spark plugs - its a car thing anyway!) so i dont think i will require eyelits.

Cheers!

Cheers Andy for your time today - TOP man!

Unfortunately the decision was out of my hands and we ended up finding a good solution from http://www.thebannerpeople.com/ .. however my bro did the design and ....ahem lets just say he's not much of a graphic designer ..so felt tip pens would have been a better option!

I would have definitely gone with ya, but time was an issue, my bro was already searching alternatives and the company said they could deliver by friday, also i didn’t want to put you out lugging that heavy thing around London!.

...so now - hopefully we wont be let down!

No worries mate.

Just sorry I could not get the quote back to you quicker, especially as it was lower.... I have to say that don't I! I don't want people thinking I was too expensive :)

Anyway, like I said, any time I can be of help with largescale print jobs like these, or maybe a spot of PR or Marketing...give me a shout.
