We host a WooCommerce store through our website which accounts for approx. 5% of our sales, the other 95% is from credit account customers, placed via email, telephone etc.
We are using Xero for our accounting and Unleashed for our inventory management. All orders are processed into Unleashed either manually or via a 3rd party API to allow them to flow from WooCommerce. Once an order is completed the invoice is created in Xero, where we then manage our credit control.
I would like to implement a B2b store for credit customers which would also allow me to integrate a reward scheme.
Is this possible with my current configuration?
If not, do you have any recommendations for an alternative solution?

It's really hard to say without looking into the detail of what you're proposing; e.g. how the credit side works is a big question, as just offering 28 days credit is very different to a full on credit check, or a credit application type solution.

As with all these things, the devil is in the detail, from your brief description we can't answer fully, as we'd need to know the proposed customer journeys, integrations needed, how you see the reward side working etc.

Based on what you've said, and seeing that your site has logged in journeys, it should be possible. You can offer certain 'types' of customers a different payment term, or create a separate B2B version of the website if you want to separate the two businesses.

This is a project/website spec that needs to be written up and then people can explain/quote for the work, or they can work with you to produce a spec and site. It's way beyond the scope of a quick question on a business forum.

Thanks Paul,
We have a credit approval system in place, so any users with pre agreed credit terms would be invited to register.
I am looking for a B2B option that would allow invited users to place orders against a PO and also guest users to be able to place pay now orders.
Once order placed it would flow to Unleashed to be actioned and once completed the invoice would be sent to Xero (already in place)
We currently have woocommerce site active with an api link to flow to Unleashed so I may need to speak with the company who designed that to see if it can be expanded to cover B2b and a customer reward scheme

One recommendation for this setup would be a Shopify store with embedded custom checkout order form using something like Jotform. I realise you've probably already considered Shopify but chose WP+woocomm for good reasons - but with this usecase, I think it's a hard to beat option.

Also - before diving in please note that I can provide you with a private demo of a couple of examples of this setup.

    The beauty of this stack:
    • Not a single penny gets passed through Shopify's payments processing - everything is passed through to your invoicing setup in the backend. So you just have the shopify sub, not processing (and it's 100% compliant with their ToS)
      • Shopify cart - products, with customer specific discounts etc: share.cleanshot.com/X4t6jVgp
      • Custom checkout form - 100% in embedded Jotform (thus no fees): share.cleanshot.com/SmnlfjMf /
    • Powerful frontend customisation available to you in liquid code - by simply changing a customer tag, you can apply and modify what they can do in terms of MOQ, Credit Limit, Payment Terms.
      • share.cleanshot.com/Dqxjdn5R
    • Total flexibility on what to do with incoming order data - in this customer's setup: It goes into their CRM, gets routed to warehouse via Airtable backend before being handed off in bespoke integration (to handle legacy palletised logistics companies convoluted tech integration requirement), invoice is produced in Xero

I know Unleashed very well. Curious whether there a reason why you wouldn't just simply use their B2B portal? It's been built just for this and would be a whole lot easier to manage than other people's solutions of either completely switching up your entire ecommerce platform or maintaining custom code.

There are several WooCommerce B2B plugins and probably some rewards ones as well!
