Just wanted to say and really, well done to everybody. Its good to know everyone in the area is doing well.
We are a very new business (just over a month) based in Appley Bridge, Wigan doing business solutions. We offer everything for business branding, graphic design, printing anything from business cards to flyers to carbon copy order pads. Also web design from 1 page holding pages to full online e-commerce shops.
We have started well but if anyone has got any ideas, tips or even any opportunity's i would love to here them. Love to keep things local and always offer further discounts for local businesses.

Do you do laptop repairs???? One of my laptops needs a repair, basically the pin where you plug the power started off getting loose but now just wont power up at all as I think its too loose.
Was looking for an approx quote to fix this ( its a toshiba and i believe this is a common problem with them! ?? )

We have SSAIB acreditation for Alarms & CCTV and are approved by most of the UK police forces.

I am in Warrington although I go to Leigh all the time for supplies to Country Baskets. I make corporate invitations and business cards and have just started to offer vinyl signs, promotional t-shirts and other items, decals, window signs, glass etched style signs, car graphics and will soon be able to offer sublimation printing so then it will be basically anything that can be printed.

We also just became a Home Access Authorised Outlet and can provide Free Laptops to children in low income families via a government grant..

That's a good idea for the free laptops, there's so much info and resources kids can get from the internet etc and many children miss out.
We've just bought my 6 year old daughter an acer for her birthday, she loves it and is always on it, she wants software for it so she can "learn at home". If that's not encouraging enough for kids to have them, then I don't know what is

Yes your'e right about the huge advantages for learning computers & internet bring.
Locally we deal with a number of schools and growing, and have done work for pretty much most schools in a 10 mile radius.

I'm in Warrington. But used to live in Atherton near the Punch Bowl. Not by choice I hasten to add, left the place as soon as I had enough money.

Hi to all,
I've just registered on the site and in Astley. I'm job hunting at the moment but my expertise is in in import/export, duty etc but was ops manager for a couple of businesses for 17 years - so know lots of stuff about finance/admin etc.
I'm not so bothered about what job I do these days so even if someone wants a reliable person to deliver leaflets etc I'm happy to help - better than having the fortnightly experience of signing-in. Horrendous! As long as I get paid!!!
I set up my own consultancy business 12 months ago specifically to provide import consultancy expertise to a relatively new business.
