....

How time changes, I am listening to a song written by Simon and Garfunkel called the boxer and it sounds hair raisingly good on my seperates system but one line makes me thing the line in the title.

Isn't it ironic that workmen are are now actualy one of the highest paid people in the country depending on the trade? I am not saying there is anything wrong with that, it just highlights the age old snobbery regarding trades.

I earn a lot less than most workmen, but get treated with a lot of respect from doctors etc because I went to university, but I have a few people in the trade and they get looked down all the time despite they have a skill better than mine.

Have the arse showing swearing wolf whisteling minority spoilt the image of builders?

JD, how many doctors do you know? As the business professional that you portray, surely you must be able to quantify this statement.
I feel you have just made this up to try and improve your own perception of yourself.
