Heres my problem:
About a month ago, me and my family were eating our tea (as you do), which was pasta and chicken
my dad come across a piece of a catering glove which he had put in his mouth. The catering glove was those blue rubbery ones, and it was the whole thumb piece. We kept the glove piece and the jar, sent it to ASDA Complaints and they sent it to the supplier.
The supplier got back to us in a letter to say that they dont use these sorts of gloves in there factories bla bla bla.. so will not be looking into the complaint. As anyone would be.. you would think.. how did it get there then??
ASDA couldnt give a 'toss' what was in our food, and all they said was a sorry for the inconvience.
So we got onto our local environmental health who then told us that we needed to send the product to them before ASDA or the Supplier, so they cant look into it either. We asked for our "glove" back from the supplier, of which they did, but did not send the jar back. They disposed of it.
Since then, ASDA have done nothing, no contact back, they are just leaving it stand. What else can we do to other than "court", no point in going to court... any suggestions??
Thanks
