Just as an unscientific poll, I would love your feedback on two sites and specifically, which one you would rather spend your cash with:

a) : http://powerhoop.eu/Powerhoop.html

b) : http://sooperhoop.co.uk

Just to add to the 'science bit', if you have family in the house, it would be interesting to hear wife/husband/kids thoughts - I think they might be different.

I owe you all a pint (wine for the ladies, Vimto for the kids).

Its B for me - the pastel purple & peach initially put me of A, plus it looks like a 'cheaply' put together site from a one man band, whereas B looks more professional - suggesting that the company has been around for longer. Not scientific, just my initial thoughts!

B, without a doubt. A is dull and boring, B has energy, life, vitality. Which is exactly what you want when you're selling this kind of product. Not all designs suit all products, and you wouldn't use a design like B for selling boring old wooden furniture or walking sticks, but for colourful, sporty hoops, it's very impressive. I almost want to buy one.

Another vote for B.

Only thing I would say is consider pre-loading the images for the buttons to avoid the blank space whilst they load.

To do this you load them all when the page opens but place the 'on hover' buttons out of the visible part of the div. Then on hover moves them over the top of the 'off' images.

I must confess I'm not a hoola-hooper, more of a hula-hoopa (beef flavour!) but B every time! More professional and exciting!

Hi,

I think B is better, but it might look better if you'd tone out some of the really bright colours and if there wouldn't be that many animations on the page, it makes it look too busy.

B for me too, though would be better if it was not so busy, you need a happy medium between boring and over the top.

IMO it depends who your aiming at, but I think be as its more based on the fun element than the preaching this is a full fitness aid.

I think both need work though, good luck
