Hello, I'm really hoping that someone can help me.
I currently run 2 small bars and am in the process of opening a 3rd. We only sell drinks and have no food, and due to the size of the bars the only computer software on site are the actual tills. I am currently using old POS systems that I have purchased off eBay, and manually gathering sales information from each site for my records, however, with a third bar opening it'd be very helpful if I had the same till system running through all the bars and was able to access all the back office online at my main office which is located in a separate site.
I have trialled various android based systems that upload information online to servers etc. But I have found that they are all just too slow for a fast paced bar environment.
With the different amount of options available, I am really struggling to work out what would be best, and each time I ring a company they all tell me their products are exactly what I need, but upon further research I'm not always so sure.
I'm also after something at a reasonable price - I picked up both of my current till systems for between £100-£200 - I am aware that upgrading to new tills will be more expensive than my previous ones, but some quotes I've had just seem plain ridiculous.
I am basically looking for a system that can do the all of the following,
And if the system can do the following, it would be an added bonus:
If anyone can offer any advice on all the above I'd be extremely grateful. At the moment I feel like I am looking for a needle in a haystack.
Many thanks for reading.

I am basically looking for a system that can do the all of the following,
- Be able to cope with a fast paced bar environment
- Be able to have the cash drawer open without printing a receipt, but have the option to print a receipt if requested
- Be able to input prices including VAT and have the system work out the VAT on receipts and reports, rather than putting in prices ex VAT - as all our prices end in 5's or 0's, when you back calculate these the ex vat price can be not a whole pence which becomes a nightmare when dealing with multiples
- Be able to set different prices at different locations
- Be able to access all data remotely via the internet without the use of a second computer on site
- Be able to produce sales reports, X reports, Z reports etc.
And if the system can do the following, it would be an added bonus:
- Be able to have a keyfob style logon for each employee so can monitor who sells what
- Be able to input stock when delivered and monitor stock levels on site
- Be able to link multiple items to one stock item e.g wine is delivered by the bottle but sold by small glass, large glass and bottle
If anyone can offer any advice on all the above I'd be extremely grateful. At the moment I feel like I am looking for a needle in a haystack.
