.............as I saunter into old age I frequently come across reminders, things people told me to do that I didn't. Had I been more open to criticism and transferred the skill a wise old sage taught me when I took up the noble art of hitting each other in the face, 'listen to everyone and work it out for yourself' I believe I'd have gotten to where I am now a lot quicker.

Rather than be offended by criticism, learn from it and dismiss it when you have found the better way.

Or a quicker way is to use a forum where people are friendlier and genuinely want to help you?

That way you skip all the nonsense and get straight to the meat and potatoes :)

I’ve been in a similar situation with a niche app I built. In your case, if 95 percent of their customers come through your websites, then you're clearly holding most of the value here.

What helped me was looking at how much actual revenue the client was generating because of the platform, not just traffic but closed business. It’s also worth thinking about how easily they could replace those leads. If they’re asking to buy the sites, it’s probably not that easy.

I’d also factor in how much time and effort it takes you to keep everything running. If it’s fairly hands-off for you, then selling might mean giving up stable and low-maintenance income. A lot of people talk about 12 to 24 times monthly profit, but in your case, I’d think more in terms of the value they are getting from it.

I wouldn’t rush into giving them a number. Try to understand first what the sites are worth to their business, not just to yours. That usually leads to a much stronger position when you do start talking price.

Clinton is an arrogant domineering bully who will tell you the the facts without any subtlety or effort to make the answer more comfortable to accept. His hard nosed, offensive attitude may be uncomfortable for some but what he says and how he says it just puts everything into perspective without any holds barred.
I cannot help but to agree with his method of presentation, although he does still seem to be a pompous individual who probably gets his kicks out of putting down others. He must get some sort of perverted pleasure in being so hostile and hard, but what he says is right!
I would like to meet him and discover if he really is an arse or if he has another side somewhere hidden.
Just to rub his nose in it, he was totally wrong with my recent business sale situation.
