Someone tell me this platform is useful. I'm not sure.

I just released this platform, called it LeBeHo (lebeho.com) which stands for Let's Be Honest.
It's supposed to be a social publishing platform that can be used by nearly anyone who has something to say whether lengthy or short, others can agree or disagree with a point made.

Two days now and I don't know if this is something I should dedicate my time and effort to. Be honest and say whatever could help me see things differently maybe. Plus today I was rethinking the whole idea. I'm a solo founder and I think my weakness is also making decisions quickly.

What's your goal/exit plan? If there's a commercial angle and you're struggling to make a decision, do some calculations to determine if its commercially viable (basically do the numbers stack up). Being a solo founder is fine, but a founder isn't someone who just builds an app without basic understanding of financials, customer acquisition, sales, marketing, legal etc etc, esp. if you're planning to commercialise it, earn money and have an exit plan.

How is this different from any other social media site?

Reddit is like join a community.
Medium, publish a story.
Substack, build a publication/audience.
Traditional social media, share updates.
LeBeHo, make a point.
LeBeHo isn't about giving people another place to post. It's about giving people a place to make a Point. It's built to rotate around Honesty.
Example posts: "Expensive doesn't automatically mean better." "Most people don't hate Mondays. They hate their jobs." "The best character in this series isn't the main character." After making a point one has to explain the why. Others can then vote.
There are more differentiators like one doesn't use their real names or share more personal data than necessary, etc, but I'll stop here.

It's built to rotate around Honesty.
I would argue, having had a look through the site for a bit, that it isn't around honesty but about Opinions instead. It looks to me to be more like Twitter/X with more characters, and always needing an Agree/Disagree type poll to every post (or a Like / Dislike).

Whether it will work or not, I don't know, but it won't last if you don't find a way to monetise it, and if you don't grow numbers it won't be able to be monetised. So that rolls back to how, how big is your budget to promote it.
Things like this, and whatever you say it is, basically, another social media platform. So you're going to need a few hundred thousand ££ to promote this to a minimum viable audience volume. Social media start-ups are hard to get momentum.

Like Nick said, how is this different from other social media?

No matter how you spin it - most social media is used (and misused) to voice one's opinion and try to make a point. Yes, there's subreddits and what have you but mainly SM is used to voice people's opinion.

There's no USP I see here.
