I’m not sure if something like this has been asked but thought I’d see just incase.
I’m working in a restaurant in a hotel on Christmas Eve & Christmas Day. They’ve asked us to stay in the hotel for the 2 nights, I guess because of the transport not running.
But their wanting to put us in a double room with a colleague as they don’t do twin rooms, so which means sharing a bed.
I’ve asked for a room for myself and they’ve declined. I don’t know if there’s laws or rights about a situation like this?
I like the people I work with, but I don’t really fancy going top and tail with either of them.
(Also I live about 40 mins away by train, so probably wouldn’t be a way of going home and back on them days).
Hopefully someone can help me out.
Thanks,
Steven.
