I see Amazon are pushing their tie up with Morrisons and Amazon Supermarket

As a Prime member I would like to give it a try but it isn't available in our location yet.

Does anyone have it available in their location and have used it?

I think the store thing is different, that's part of Amazon Fresh

    The supermarket is with Morrisons

Me and the missus use it maybe once a month. Say we don't have a preferred tesco order timeslot and we need some urgent bits... And we're feeling super lazy.

Its not bad to be honest. Not competitive on price points yet but I guess nothing from Amazon really is, but certainly convenient.

    Thanks,

I've just looked on the actual Morrisons website and they do home deliveries too, so what's the advantage of buying via Amazon rather than direct from Morrisons?

Is it just the fact you can get same day delivery (if in a location it'd provided) and it's free delivery for Prime members when buying via Amazon?

Can get it where we live but have not used it...tend to prefer popping in-store. Think Amazon used Morrisons as a way to get in the food market - I expect they will stop using them now they have their own up and running.

For us, yes. Often very quickly after ordering too as within an hour or two.

To my knowledge it is not available here yet. Although I am not sure that I would know.

I shop weekly for food - I pop to a local butcher, and to a local greengrocer.

Other stuff, when needed, might induce a montly visit to Lidl - because there location is convenient.

By visiting the shops my stuff literally arrives at the exact same time as I do, which is uber convenient.

Using this logic, do you ever buy anything online at all?

My local butchers is shut before I get home each night and parking nearby is a nightmare. I've been hoping they did a delivery service for awhile now too because I much prefer a proper steak from the butchers.

However, I'll blow your mind even more now, we cook and eat Gusto throughout the week so we don't really do much food shopping at all!

Similar really to the Tesco Delivery Saver

Rare that they do same day delivery though

Have never been able to get next day delivery at all from this! Would use it over Amazon if we could.

I had a look at about 11:00 this morning and there was one slot available between 19:00 and 23:00 tonight.

Just had another look and there are a couple of slots still available for tomorrow

Today/tomorrow are probably quiet days though

    They say

"Free deliveries any day, except same-day"

I had the option of booking a same day delivery today, would have been interesting to see if I would have been charged for it, had I taken it.

The simply answer to your question is that I do, in fact, buy almost nothing on line. Not totally because of that logic, but online shopping solves a challenge I don't seem to be having. Especially for food shopping.

And your own lack of food shopping does not blow my mind at all - it is entirely a matter of choice.

And I completely accept that I am not relevant as a market research subject! I buy fresh food at small stores whereever I happen to be in the world at the time, and enjoy preparing it.

I can see why online might appeal on the subject of choice. But I am not so convinced by the convenience aspect. But I am very rarely somewhere to which it could be easily delivered.

I'm pretty jealous to be honest. When ever I can I get out on my lunch and try and grab bits from local places but then half the time it feels like chores during a time I want to be having a rest and eating!
