I would be careful if I was you.
I have heard it said that the authorities closely monitor that type of business.

One of these days someone is going to do a website about the spread of fake news by conspiracy websites. Do they run a conspiracy when they do that?

Are you saying that the fake news websites that news websites write about aren't actually fake news websites but the news websites writing about the fake news websites are fake news website and the fake news websites are in fact not fake news websites?

They can’t shut down the truth.

Most people that write/read conspiracy theory websites would not know the truth if it hit them...I hope you are different.

A website that shows the truth (and with actual verifiable facts) such as Skeptoid is much more interesting

Ok, so why are you even commenting on this thread? You don’t see me commenting on your “other things”!

Because you posted it in a public forum.
If you wanted it to be private then post it in a private forum.

You may not have noticed but I was replying to someone else. Then you replied to me.
I'll leave the running of conspiracies to those who enjoy that sort of thing. You can carry on posting the ideology you accept as truth where you want, just may get better reactions on some sites than others.

I was initially interested but then I found out your partners are both conspiring to get you out once it is up and running, so it is unlikely to work out well.

Get some hosting, install Wordpress and start writing. It’s not difficult. Hundreds of others already run conspiracy sites, blogs, forums and newsgroups. One more isn’t going to set the world alight.

How can you say it’s not hard when you have no idea what we are doing. Where are these 100s of other sites you’re chatting about? Exactly. So please don’t spam bs comments on my thread, that’s not what I asked for. Even if you do believe you know everything.

Quite a lot of us have been around for far too long to have the wool pulled over our eyes by some crack pot that believes in conspiracy theory's but not only that wants to promote this misleading content
Furthermore we are insulted by somebody thinking we might fall for all stuff !
If people here showed you how to build and promote a site and its content .Why would you believe they are telling you the truth when your whole business model is geared towards not believing anything

Im very big into conspiracy theories and you are wrong they can shut down the truth. The only ones they ignore are small time sites or their own disinfo sites like david icke and alex jones. That Tommy Robbinson guy is in prison for speaking out.

We’re not trying to convince people of anything, I’ve not heard the France thing. We want people to make their own minds up

Oh I have I claim to have been there but it may have been Belgium or Spain France may not even exist

Maybe a silly question, but do you and your business partners actually believe in any of the the weird conspiracy theories such as aliens built the Pyramids, the earth is flat etc?

Probably because many of us have built websites. There are also some on here who build websites as a business.

For the hundreds of other sites try google or any other search engine.

But isn't that the very concept of a conspiracy theory> that "they" are shutting down the truth?

The customers of a conspiracy theory don't want the truth, they want a narrative that supports their worldview. Bit like the media provide but more catering to the tastes of these customers.

And they can have multiple truths for the same event, all of which claim to be correct while being different from each other.

Yes you make a valid point, the London protest demo was not covered on the BBC. I found it though in all the papers and then it did not look like a couple of hundred more like a couple of thousand and then again more info on the alternative sites. I wonder why - the clue might be where TR was arrested, it was not in the North and a very unpleasant case.

I am a fan of conspiracy theories and believe that there is some truth in a lot of them. My current favourite is the Mandela Effect.

But as said before there are actually hundreds of websites (google brings up 77,000,000 results) plus all the facebook groups and youtube channels.

So how will you make your different and how will you make money from it?
