Are you a Christian?

Lol Beachy don't be soft you've got no chance of anything resembling a sensible reply.

To the uninitiated here, as people have pointed out DCE is under supervision. One of the theories as to why he/she/it can't remember old posts is that DCE is in fact "legion," i.e. many.

Whatever he/she/borg/it is, as many have pointed out it's not worth debating with "them" unless you're extremely bored/suicidal/both.

OK DCE - get some special permission from your handler to view this and let me know what you think:

You have posted this before, I think it would be beneficial, if they all had a Bible Study.

(Romans 10:2-3) 2*For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God; but not according to accurate knowledge; 3*for, because of not knowing the righteousness of God but seeking to establish their own, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of God.

We don't have handlers, incorrect information, seems to flow from you Beachcomber, the truth sets you free, no handlers necessary, just God & Jesus who have prime position in my life.

Avoiding the question is decipt.

incorrect information, seems to flow from you Beachcomber............

Attacking those who see through you is a common tactic.

Here is a scripture the true Christians must observe Beachcomber.

(Ephesians 5:6-11) 6*Let no man deceive YOU with empty words, for because of the aforesaid things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience. 7*Therefore do not become partakers with them; 8*for YOU were once darkness, but YOU are now light in connection with [the] Lord. Go on walking as children of light, 9*for the fruitage of the light consists of every sort of goodness and righteousness and truth. 10*Keep on making sure of what is acceptable to the Lord; 11*and quit sharing with [them] in the unfruitful works that belong to the darkness.

Who do you think control's the darkness?

Do answer a fricking question dear chap. Go on, try it you might like it.

I think it would be benificial if you answered the points raised inteh clip and stopped ducking the issues.

It would be better if Beachcomber did his own research, to get the correct answers to the question on the clip, as that will benefit him the most, as he is searching for the truth.

Yes?

No.
It would be better if you could answer the question and not continue to be evasive, dishonest and deceitful.

Which of us could be perceived as closer to god - the one who answers honestly, fully and without subterfuge, or the one who ducks, dives and avoids committing to a solid answer?

The one that has Godly wisdom is the one closer to God, and having that wisdom is really beneficial, as we don't get drawn into debate with someone like yourself, who will debate for hours, week after week, but not because you are seeking truth.

You just want to undermine another’s faith while flaunting your own supposed education in evolutionary science etc.

Time is precious, and should not be wasted, do your own research my friend if you want to really know the truth, just as I did.

Evidently not correct DCE. You didn't end up a Jehovah Witness by researching this yourself, instead I bet you went to Bible Study class, where someone from the JW's taught you what to think...

More smoke and mirrors stuff from the grand master of deceipt.

You claim to have a special knowledge of gods plan, but refuse to share it. What right do you have to refuse to share the special insights to have been granted?

I do not seek to undermine anyones faith - but is someone claims to have a very strong belief then I'd expect them to be able to answer simple questions regarding this faith.

faliure to answer these simple questions shows that a) the person is unsure of the path they have chosen to follow or b) knows deep doew they are mistaken, but do not have the courage to admit it or c) remains faithful, does not know all the answers, but refuses to admit it.

Either way, you are less than honest which doesn't seem very 'godly' to me.

You are right - time is precious, so stop avoiding he subject and start giving straight answers.

Wrong attitude Beachcomber, in depth conversations with people on the internet is a no go area, as you well know.

If you would like to meet me face to face, then I will spend the time answering all your questions, but only on them terms.

Godly Wisdom is the Key.

Just trying to save you time, as it is running out, for this old system, my friend.

Mind you, hell, as a place of torment, is a pagan teaching, so I suppose it will be of great interest to you.

But remember this scripture from the Bible, when you start your researching into paganism.

(John 17:2-3)3 This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ.

Living forever on this earth is not just a dream, it will be a reality, as that was God's original purposed for mankind, and he is going to carried it out, or the ransom sacrifice of his son Jesus Christ would have been in vain. Yes

(Revelation 21:3-4) And God himself will be with them. 4*And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.

Living forever, in peaceful conditions, what a wonderful hope.

You couldn't keep that sort of Good News to yourself, could you?

Typical tactic of those who cannot backup their positions, instead they get people by themselves, and feed them rubbish - aka Brainwashing... People like you dare not do it to a group for fear of being questioned.

Like I said to you before DCE, you appear to have less faith in your faith than you're letting on. Otherwise you'd just answer the rather simple questions people are asking you.

It's also quite funny that you want a one-to-one question and answering session, when you have COPIED AND PASTED everything. How will you manage that in a living room?

I suppose the JW's have a Question and Answer DVD that they give away like old AOL disks. Leave a few leaflets about local JW groups, and you'll come and knock on their door again in a few weeks - to make sure they're ok.

It also flies in the face of all you've said DCE. That people can find the truth themselves, and that the Holy Spirit will help them - like you say it helps you. We know this is false, which is why you'll turn up to someone's house with more than just a Bible. You'll turn up with other publications which proclaim to show people how to read the Bible, and how to "properly interpret" it.

The amount of lies and deceit displayed by you DCE is enough to convince everyone to steer clear of anything you want to preach about.

Just so those replying to DCE fully appreciate it, he/them is simply using this place to do digital door knocking. JWs are told not to use the internet for fear that Satan misleads them [ie de-programmes them]. DCE can only do what he's doing here whilst supervised and with reference to his managers as part of his 'good news' mission.

You're utterly wasting your time trying to give him information or get him to answer questions that he's not allowed to. Worse, you're actively encouraging the JWs to keep at it. Please just ignore him and he'll be forced to move off down the street.

This is from Watchtower

"connecting a computer to an electronic bulletin board can open the way to serious spiritual dangers. Just as an unscrupulous individual can place on a bulletin board a virus-a program designed to corrupt and destroy computer files-apostates, clergymen, and persons seeking to corrupt others morally or otherwise can freely place their poisonous ideas on bulletin boards. Unless a bulletin board, even one labeled "JW Only," is properly supervised, with its use being limited to those who are mature, faithful servants of Jehovah, it could expose Christian users to "bad associations." (1 Cor. 15:33) The Society has received reports that such so-called private networks have been used not only to speculate regarding spiritual matters but also to give bad advice, spread gossip and false information, plant negative ideas, raise questions and doubts that subvert the faith of some, and disseminate private interpretations of Scripture. On the surface, some information may appear to be Interesting and informative, and yet it may be laced with poisonous elements. Christians look to "the faithful and discreet slave" for timely spiritual food and for clarifications." (Watchtower, August 1, 1993, p17)

What a silly man you are Subbynet, you really have no idea what you are talking about, or have the common sense to see, that what you say, should be the way people, should respond to someone on the internet, they have never met.

I will continue in my life to act wisely, if that does not suit you, that's your problem, my friend.

Godly wisdom is a treasure beyond compare, and by living by it, it is a safeguard, against the very plain intentions, of the rhetoric you display on this forum.

I will mention you in my prayers though.

Oh, bless, do my words offend? I owe you nothing, certainly not respect, for all you have shown others in this thread is contempt, and a conceited display of ignorance for all other views.

The problem with common sense is it's not very common.

Common sense is the collection of prejudices acquired by age eighteen. Albert Einstein

He also said - "Whoever undertakes to set himself up as a judge of Truth and Knowledge is shipwrecked by the laughter of the gods."

Some say he was a clever man. ;)

Who's viewpoint should I listen to, your's or the Bible's.

Look who's viewpoint Eve listened too, and what happened, and you seem to be very much in tune with his philosophies, so we will just continue to listen to what the only true God says.

(Psalm 37:39-40) 39*And the salvation of the righteous ones is from Jehovah; He is their fortress in the time of distress. 40*And Jehovah will help them and provide them with escape. He will provide them with escape from wicked people and save them, Because they have taken refuge in him.

Beats Albert Einstein Quotes.

Who have we to put our trust in?

(Proverbs 3:5-6) 5*Trust in Jehovah with all your heart and do not lean upon your own understanding. 6*In all your ways take notice of him, and he himself will make your paths straight.

Subbynet do not continue to rely on your own understanding, you are way of course.

Again oh please... I think we know who you listen too, and it isn't me or the Bible. You listen to the JW elders, and you stick to the JW line, otherwise you'll be discommunicated.

That's the truth. You're not allowed your own opinion. You must show unity with your brothers and sisters, otherwise you'll be told to leave, because they're very Christian like that :p

Subbynet do not continue to rely on your own understanding, you are way of course.

I bet someone said that to you once. The difference is I don't rely on my own understanding. Most of the time I rely on someone else's understanding, and I just press a switch and something works - it's like magic, but explainable.

I am quoting from the Bible, who is speaking, the Bible or the elders, why do you put your own slant on everything, it is the Bible, we as JW's, see as the authority.

Unity with all our Brothers and Sisters throughout the world in every nation is a marvellous credit to our God Jehovah, when you see so much disunity, in this world of ours.

Don't knock it, it's making Satan very angry, as he cannot prevent this united throng of Jesus followers who all love each other, from growing each day throughout the earth and telling people, the Good News about God's Kingdom soon to take over ruler-ship of this earth very soon.

Will you be one of it's subjects?

The JW elders are the authority you listen too. Hence why you all said the world will end, if you disagreed with the elders, you would have been told to leave the organisation - and probably your family as well.

So you don't listen to the Bible, for the Bible doesn't speak for itself, you must read it, and understand it, but for you, that means understanding the JW elders opinion, and not your opinion, for you are just a minion who is not allowed to express an opinion.

Why do JW elders punish a whole family if someone decides to believe something different to the party line?

Hell is a Pagan teaching? Are you seriously so narrow minded that you think you know the answer to a question, when you are quite clearly refusing to even contemplate another religion... i.e. Have you researched Pagansim? if not, then you have no right to make such a tom foolery comment.

When I "start" my research into Paganism? it is quite apparent now that you are nothing but a rambling, bumbling idiot that doesn't have a care for anyone elses words but his own.

You come out with some of really silly remarks, you have been listening to false stories, which is what you base, your reasoning on.

(2 Timothy 4:4) 4*and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories.

I think you are an apostate in disguise Subbynet, so ignore is the key word for me to put in place.

Well, isn't that good for your mate.

But, it doesn't change the fact JW elders ask followers to shun people for certain deeds - to the point of keeping minimal contact with family.

Sociologist Andrew Holden has claimed that fear of family break-up or loss causes people who might otherwise freely leave the religion to remain member.

Jehovah's Witnesses practise a form of shunning which they refer to as "disfellowshipping".[10] A disfellowshipped person is not to be greeted either socially or at their meetings. Disfellowshipping follows a decision of a judicial committee established by a local congregation that a member is guilty of a "serious sin", including "fornication, adultery, homosexuality, greed, extortion, thievery, lying, drunkenness, reviling, spiritism, murder, idolatry, apostasy, and the causing of divisions in the congregation";[11] Watch Tower publications cite sexual immorality as the most common reason.[12][13]
The Watch Tower Society directs that those who voluntarily renounce membership of the religion ("disassociation") are also to be shunned.[14][15] The organization cites their interpretation of various passages in the Bible, such as 1 Corinthians 5:11-13, and 2 John 10-11 to support their practice of shunning. Total shunning is not enforced in the case of disfellowshipped members living in the same household, although in this case the remaining members will not usually discuss spiritual matters with the disfellowshipped person. Parents are still expected to give Bible instruction to a disfellowshipped minor.[16][17] Contact with family members not living in the family home is to be kept to a minimum.[18] Sociologist Andrew Holden claims his research indicated many Witnesses who would otherwise defect because of disillusionment with the organization and its teachings retain affiliation out of fear of being shunned and losing contact with friends and family members.[19]

Satan propaganda machine working Josor did you notice the heading:-

Sociologist Andrew Holden has claimed or has a theory

Outsiders trying to look in to something they nothing about, and getting their own distorted picture, which results in them mainly, trying to discredit, or ridicule the organisation

Sad really.

Thanks for the feedback.

It's not important as I never look back, but I believed in a lot of pagan philosophies, which where just not true.
It is very important because if you cannot be specific about such an easy question then you are obviously lying to try and add weight to your 'decision' to be JW.

It is super, super easy to answer that question if you are being honest. However it does leave you with 4 very simple choices...

1. Tell us about your previous Pagan religion.
2. Admit you were lying about it.
3. Do a little bit of google research on some Pagan religions and post that to cover your lie.
4. Continue to be vague because you can't admit to item #2 and you aren't allowed to do item #3.

I guess someone in the posting group behind the 'DCE' account might have some prior knowledge of Pagan religions so you could always use that to cover items #2 & #3 and we'll be none the wiser, but I'm sure everyone is happy to give you the benefit of the doubt.

So I'll ask again. Which Pagan religion did you follow?

Well Cobby I'm afraid, you as a member on this forum, are, as far as I'm concerned, a person that does not need to know, and you should actually recognize it as none of your business, or anyone else's for that matter.

Now than Cobby tell me what religion you follow?
