Hi,

You might be better off looking for distributors for Apple products that are based in the UK just by completing an internet search.

Good luck.

You are talking about regular apple stores?
They won t give me a better price, they won t take me serious when i write an email telling them that i want to buy mass.
That s why i try to find a connection in here.
Maybe somebody has a friend or a family member which work with apple products.

This is no thread to discuss it.
of course prices are variable and every retailer has his own selling price, some cheaper some not.
When i buy mass, there should always be a little discount.
Because of the exchange rate, i can make a business with it. This is called arbitrage.

As I have said, and you do not seem to understand, Apple can sell ALL their production at full price, so why should they sell lower to you? Your statement "When i buy mass, there should always be a little discount." does not apply. There is no commercial reason for them to give a discount. They also limit the number of phones that can be bought by one person to 2. Their phone, their shop, their rules.

i m not talking only about apple stores.
In relation to apple stores you are right.
There are other shops, like dixons, hmv etc which also sell ipods.
Online shops like amazon are cheaper than the regular apple store!
Let s don t point on amazon because there is no compare to a small traider like me. They got much other condition like "us".

There are stores which get their ipods from a wholesaler or from whoever.
If i could find a source where i could get them between 145£ and 147£, i would buy them.

I m interested in many other things, but i have no connection to guys from the uk and i don t want to overdo.
The "start" is always difficult but if i could find some help, i could start the business.

I had a nice guy here in the forum, but i think he wasn t serious and tried me to cheat on some way. We had continual email contact, and now he stopped answereing my mails, so...., i m still searching for help.

i have to apologize for my english i try to do my best.

ps.: if there is a limit like 2 units per person, there is always a way to bypass. We could do many invoices each 2 ipods for example. There is always a way when 2 people want to do business.
I did that in the past too,i bought like 80 consoles, but maximum 3 consoles each reciep.

It might be worth emailing apple on the off chance you never know...

with my english? no chance :(

i bought consoles too, but there is no chance to contact nintento, sony or microsoft directly, because i m a nobody! They only care about the big ones.
I would buy like 200 consoles a month, that s not worth dealing with me :/

N'abend M.R. Wo bist du genau?

Warum wollen Sie von UK kaufen? Haben Sie einen lieferanten in deutschland?

Because of the exchange rate and the prices.
apple has a world wide warranty, so it s no problem if customers ipod get s broken. serial number = warranty
uk ipod is 1:1 the same than in germany.
What i do is called : arbitrage (compare prices in different countrys)
I like Uk, because it s easy for me to get there, even by car it s pretty easy.
Takes me about 6-7 hours to london by car.

MR is right, Apple Inc. Will not offer him discount due to 60 being minimal but he may get financial economies of scale from currys as they can order the ipods from apple inc. For maybe $50 a piece and sell to MR for $100 a piece due to them having trade relations with apple and apple inc. can trust currys due to their brand loyalty so in relation to dixons yes they will offer discounts for bulk buying.
thanks,
Joshua.

Problem is, i got in trouble with hmv, because i bought to many pieces.
Now they have a maximum of 5 consoles per person.
Since january i m out of goods.

I know someone who used to import cussons soap for 6p from malaysia and sell here for 30p. Got fined 100k in 2004. Anyway you can still do parallel trading in Australia.

But this is a different import than i am doing.
From australia to uk is an import where you have to pay import duty, vat etc.
What i do isn t really import because it s all "europe goods" where i don t have to pay anything because it s "intra-Community acquisition".
That s much easier :)
It s just cool because we have different currency.
