The Iphones are always the best all round phones money can buy, but because of the branding, design and the appeal that goes with all things Apple, they are going to be costly to run when compared to others. They do offer so much more though in terms of functionality. For me, (had a 3GS for 2 years), i really don't need or use that functionality. I think 95% of the iphone is wasted on me.
That said i was surprised to see the Iphone 4 is smaller then the 3GS as it looks much bigger from images.
Business - Blackberry's are still the best for e-mail.
I looked at an HTC recently and the size of things puts me off completely.
Is this one of those threads where it turns into mine is bigger than yours?
You sound like you wake up next to Steve Jobs every morning! I have a Galaxy S which is more than a match for the over rated locked in Iphone.
There is no denying that the iphone is the best phone you can buy in terms of all round ability. The apps, itunes etc are all massive aspects of the iphones appeal and functionality and it can't be matched.
i've just swapped networks and amongst the phones got myself an HTC desire and the OH a BB bold.
She's not happy after using mine
People say the BB are better for business. Cant understand why apart from push emails. Mine retrieves every 5 mins so no biggy there
The general consensus is that with the exception of the broadly advertised coverage issues of the I-Phone 4 is the device is a improvement on the I-Phone 3GS but not on a massive scale.
The cost implication is something to take into account as well, as the 3GS is generally available on cheaper plans now. Which network are you with at the moment?
If you have a 3GS and bought a sim free iphone 4 from Apple, could you just put the sim from the 3GS into the new 4 and have it work perfectly?
