We run a team of decorators we decided to go with yell.com that's the start of the nightmare we started to get calls for timber and not decorating we had no idea why this was happening until a customer rang to say she had was trying to call but on her smart phone when she rang our number on yell.com it came up as a1 timber specialist no us checked them out on yell.com and yes my number on there listing so we had calls for over 4 months hence why yell.com was telling us we where having hundreds of calls yes but not for us someone else we have now taken yell to court to claim back all my money due to breach of contract yes you guessed it we are under contract threats of debt collection be warned steer clear of yell.com

I tried out Yell in the first year, cancelled as I didn't see any benefits

A quick check would have shown you how useless tell are at doing anything.

Good luck trying to get your money back, many have tried and failed.

Same here, they had problems with number redirect ( call counting ) and I got for month calls to other businesses. They were never able to fix that unfortunately. The only thing that works with them is the pre sales department, after service is as bad as it can get. Tickets taking weeks to get answered and somehow they manage to duplicate listings as well.

I had a free listing first and was talked into a 1 year featured listing. Based on website statics and collecting data my paid listing got 2 inquiries in 12 month. My free listing was for some reason performing 150% . Tracking your investment and return on investment seems to be quite bad on yell.com Get yourself a google business listing it is free and shows normally above the organic searches anyway.

Well We are paying £160 a month and it is the biggest waste of money Our add covers the whole South west and is at the Top of the Exeter area and last month it had five clicks To my alarm 19 calls this year Nobody looks on yell .com
The next time the rep comes here in a few weeks I will be telling him to $$$$ his contract sky high
