Games are simulations of real world or imagined systems. I don't play games, but I love writing them. I have a 2D space-shooter game on Google Play. The functionality is nearly finished, but the graphics are very basic place-holders at the moment.

I would like to start publicising my game soon, but I have so much on my plate at the moment. I might change the graphics to produce a UKBF theme - so you had all better watch out when publishing pics of yourselves on the web - you might just end up as a villian in my space-shooter game! LOL!

I wish there were more gamers and games programmers around here.

I'm guessing you meant this as a joke, but actually the old board games such as Snakes & Ladders, Ludo, and even Noughts and Crosses appear to be quite popular as video games.

Newest game we have been playing is CodeNames, great fun for any age but needs four people. Good party after dinner party game.

Nah, my kids know that the winner is our favourite child for the rest of the day and the loser has to sleep in the garden shed that night. If neither kid wins then they're just a disappointment to me. No arguments.
