    The key to Gumtree is to post loads of ads every day to really make the most of the 6 million monthly visitors to the site. You will need to know the main demographic and the busiest categories to go at.

    Let me know as I have a whole instruction written up in word on exactly how to post hundreds of ads every week on gumtree.
    I am in MLM and recruit people every month without spending a penny online.

    Would I be able to get a copy of that word document also please? i have tried gumtree a few times but with small amounts of traffic.

    This discussion is really interesting and am learning loads. I am a very small business and don't have the capital to go down the professional PR advertising route yet.

    I have been feeling a bit down about it all as getting traffic and customers is a difficult one, so thanks for a great thread.

    It's not actually 'on line' but-i offered to write a cloumn on my subject for the local paper & They accepted with relish-As Im a landscape gardener
    it was a column on gardening.This week I got a whole page to myself-which included five hundred words of what to do this week in the garden type stuff plus loads of subtle and unsubtle reminders to their huge local readership that i'm actually a professional that they can hire!
    In this week's edition was a huge nine inch by five inch colour photo of me stood in front of my product (nice flower bed outside a prestigious RECOGNISEABLE building) How's that for free advertising
    Many of you could blow your own trumpet this by posing as the local expert on....whatever you are good at...Id like to hear that someone else tries it-and gets success like me-good luck folks-!!

    thanks gasangel for the referral of the all singing all dancing mega company in china(ill stor their details) they'll do fine at the later stage-Im still at the can't afford a ticket to china and don't trust anyone I can't go and punch locally type of thing-
    its horrible developing a prototype-You tend to want to keep it close to your chest but can't.
    If i end up in china knocking out thousands that will be good Ill be happy with selling my first fifty in the next four months and see how it sells-wish me luck.

    I got really good resopose from yahoo answers. It can be strange but I got some good clients from there. Well, I found yahoo answer good for me.:D

    We'd like to use some free B2B websites fuzing.com;diytrade.com at the start stage of my business.just make testing... like that.
    Of course,you are completed exposed and be placed on first colume when your articles is with rich contents and enough trade leads and keywords.
    Best way is different to everybody,After all,is the best fit depends on which business field you are in.
    There is no such thing as a free lunch,than in the ending we will paid money for advertising.

    Hi Jay do you still have a copy of that instruction on word? if so would you send it to me? i would be soo grateful.

    also if anyone has any other good free listings or directories to use that would be great..:D

    i am already on uk small business directory and freeindex and both are great..

    also since being an eco business looking for more eco directories or sites to use and link so if anybody has any ideas that would be great!!!

    sorry for asking a lot, but gotta try!!
