Yes, I agree with the Chris that Google is no longer giving any value to the results which are easy to manipulate. Instead you should focus on natural link building if you have done a good on page then in the offpage you should concentrate on the Quality of links which brings traffic to your website. Links which are make only to spoof the search result are not giving any value until a cisitor visit that link unless it will be counted as a dead link after some time.

Except it doesn't make any sense. You should properly research your keywords and build them into your content to create a holistic whole. Google is looking for relevance to searches not keywords.

Today I started my SEO and link building strategy on the advice of a shop building course I got some time ago that includes what works from Andrew Minalto. All white hat strategies and now there is only time to show if it works for me. Apply to Googles rules and you will win. That is the best strategy anytime.

As it is Google index is near the 1500 plus pages and I can get on with the work. That is the ranking of the pages and competition is not there in my niche.

Indeed it does and the course is done well so all I have to do is to apply it and see what happens which I am currently on a mission to do. Still everything Andrew has done is absolutely what works and if it gets out dated then he would not or update it like he has with his Ebay course.

The feed files from my supplier are as is and to rank in Google that SEO on pages needs to be done for the best result and that is part of the daily work Monday to Friday.

Some of the previous posts saying link building is outdated need to get their heads checked. If done well, if done legitimately, it works wonders.

Trouble is 'link building' is still viewed as a grubby practice with little credibility, largely because the SEO industry doesn't understand PR and now, digital PR.

SEO has changed a lot. Techniques which were working before are not working now. One technique which I would like to suggest because I'm following it from last 1 year and that is publish content regularly. I've started with some posts (use interlinking of posts strategically) then some guest posts. It worked for me.

My working strategy which is proven to work and I now follow is now a few weeks into it. The SEO on pages are going on every day to it's done which will be about 1-2 months.

Part of the strategy are:

Which are every day Monday to Friday. The links are starting to be found by Google and it's now time to set the keywords to rank for and let Google get to work. Most of the chosen keywords for each page are relatively easy accordently to my seo software tool.

Totally white hat working strategy! He knows as he found out and teaches it.

So shoot it down and reject it! I don't care.

The only thing to go wrong here is if I apply it wrong or badly which my then results will suffer from. I did rewatch the linking training video and patience is the key. Google takes 1-2 months to index basic sites/pages he says and my pages are but no SEO on page was done at the time.

Still I do get quite a few first page results already but do not know the search phrases for it.

Lastly Andrew is totally into Amazon by now and his ecommerce course is not available unless you bought it while you could.

I think you will find the links from those sort of sites have almost zero value. General directories stopped being a strong ranking signal a long time ago.

Really? It normally takes a few days for Google to index the sites I look after.

Anderz - Your link to "localframe" is from a page dated 2016. Most are completely worthless and a complete waste of time.
There is no debate at all, SEO is made up of many parts. Backlinking is one of the parts but not a priority or preference. I have seen website rank at the top with 2 backlinks others with 15,000. Just all part of the SEO pie.
