Hi all,
I offer web design, some of it at a pretty low cost, but I regularily have conversations of the 'HOW MUCH?' variety, even on a £200 package.
Even after you have explained it in layman's terms they still think your too high, knowhere I know is there such a void between the actual cost of something and the percieved cost of it, even when you explain it in layman's terms (Minimum wage x no' of hours).
I had a conversation with a client who had been quoted £60 for a CMS website, and could I beat that...I nearly fell of my chair.
I know enquirers will always try it on when it comes to price even if your really cheap, and it got me wondering...
...What do you expect to pay for a website, and why?
Thanks, B.
