Inforgraphic submission is one of the best way to convey message to people through images compared to text.

If infographic is based on any company information like products, its history then it is definitely help to generate traffic on the website.

But if infographic is designed for other company's information, no doubt there is name of company which has designed inforgraphic below the infographic like 'designed by xyz', also help to promote your company in an indirect way.

Most services that offer this charge $5 and place your logo on spammy / obscure sites that then don't get indexed. If the link is nothing more than the image and nothing else its a very low quality link and is not a good idea.

Once again, complete twaddle is being posted. Some infographics may gain traction. Most don’t. Infographics have been around since way before the internet. They aren’t a wonder of advancement in technology.

As fisicx says, there is some strange stuff being posted on here!

It reminds me of the spam comments that you get on a lot SEO/web design forums from new users at Indian/asian SEO companies. They usually do this thinking they are getting a back link, not having bothered to read the rules saying it takes 50 posts for a link to be active & even then it's nofollow! This isn't happening on UKBF is it?

To get an infographic to be popular, or rank on Google with their current algorithms, it's no different to any other content. It is very unlikely to rank without a really good, well written & keyword targeted article. It will then need to be picked up, or have backlinks created from other authority sites, otherwise its very unlikely to rank for anything competitive, unless you have hit on some incredible process that changes something significant.

Infographics are not new, most sites that used to promote these now don't rank well anymore. There are a couple of good ones that you can submit articles too, but they manually review them & only publish the best & weed out the rubbish.

Infographic submission is an effective the way to get back links and traffic for the site because infographic is that type of element which makes possible to understand complicated concept in the easy way. It is also the source of online branding.
Creating smaller post with compelling infographics helps you to attract the attention of the visitor and helps to gain links and traffic. You can also share the infographics on social media, this helps to drive tons of traffic for your site.
No this is nonsense, see my comment from Feb 11th. Why are you spamming an old thread as per the previous comment?

That would have been partially true 5 years ago. It's no longer 2013.

Publish your infographic on your own site and then syndicate socially and use a paid promotion boost to give it some leverage.

Link to it within existing content and you'll have something with multiple uses.

You could even use it as a reason to email your prospect list - since it's nonthreatening, nonsalesy.

But why on earth would you want to give that valuable content to someone else freely? Publishing on external domains should be done with MODERATION.

Info-graphics are the talk of the town irrespective of its niche. But, it has to be crisp, full of information and attractive at the same time. Design an info-graphic which is synonymous to your website's mission and vision, it would surely make wonders.

Infographic is a great and interactive way to get website traffic. It is a way of content marketing and an easiest way to get backlinks. You can create an infographic for other website and request him for a backlink in return of the infographic.

A good infographic gets coverage and links because it's

a) Designed well.
b) Presents the data in the best way (and is actually an INFOgraphic not just a graphic)
AND
c) Actually contains a story that the media will use.

None of that is easy.
