VAT on eBook Publishers

Hi there,

I'm just starting out - intending to start up a new e-publishing company, and realise that, for UK sales of e-books I'll need to charge the full 20% VAT. What is my standing when customers from outside the UK - Europe and Internationally - purchase an ebook from my site? Will I need to charge/declare VAT?
